Escape to the Poconos at the Red Tail Retreat. Our cozy & stylish cabin has 5 PRIVATE BEDROOMS with 1 King, 3 Queen & 2 Twin Bunk Beds. Due to the community rules, we're only permitted to list it as 3 bedrooms on Airbnb. Relax in comfort by the fireplaces or play games in the entertainment room. You can hang out on the over-sized deck & have a soak in the 6-person hot tub on in relax in the backyard Sauna. The space In the summer enjoy the outdoor private community pool, beach and lake. Then in the colder months hit the slopes at Big Boulder Mountain or Jack Frost Ski Resort just minute The Red Tail Retreat is the perfect family or group of friend's getaways for outdoor enthusiasts looking to unwind or seek adventure in the Poconos. As you approach the cabin be alert driving as its almost a guarantee you will see some wildlife, likely deer. Pull into the spacious gravel driveway which accommodates 7 cars. Plenty of fun to be had as you enter the cabin through the lower level and into the Entertainment Room equipped with games galore. These include Air Hockey, Shuffleboard, and Ring Toss. We also have Full size arcade games Pac Man and Mortal Combat. A full complement of board and card games including poker provides many fun options for everyone. Grab a blanket and cozy up on the couch by the red retro electric fireplace which enhances the cabin vibes aesthetic. Each bedroom includes a television. You will find the Master Bedroom at the end of the hall on the lower level holds A KING size bed with premium memory foam mattress (which are on all the beds). This generous space also holds a 55-inch HDTV and additional seating area. For those looking to get some work done a full-sized desk is also included. The first of 2 bathrooms is located outside the master bedroom. A newly designed white tile walk-in shower brightens the room. We offer premium bath and shower products to our guests from Public Goods, an eco-friendly and health-conscious company, including hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A full-sized stackable washer and dryer are also found in this space. Across from the bathroom is the first of three queen-sized bedrooms with plenty of closet space and a colorful design. As you head upstairs you will pass by the mini-bar and fridge which are equipped for any of your cocktail needs. The main living area upstairs is open concept with cathedral ceilings providing plenty of room for everyone. You will have no problem cooking up any meal in the fully equipped kitchen. On your left sits a coffee bar with the option for regular coffee or K-cups (included). A dining table that seats 8 and 2 bar stools at the kitchen island provide seating for 10 guests to enjoy a meal. These spaces make for the perfect setting to enjoy socializing while someone prepares beverages or a meal. Grab some reading material and get comfy on the sofa in front of the fireplace. A 50-inch HDTV above the mantle is another alternative to pass some time. There is also the record player with a diverse vinyl collection and a guitar. Whether listening to a classic album (we’ve got something for everyone!) or strumming out a few chords you will surely have some laughs and make memories. Enter the hall to find the 2nd bathroom on the right, also tastefully updated with a fun black and white tile. Each bathroom also has a hair dryer and make up towels. Back into the hallway where you find two more good-sized queen bedrooms both with ample closet space. At the end of the hall on the left is the 5th bedroom which holds two twin bunk beds and a 43-inch HDTV. There is an extra charge of $10 per additional guest per night. Up to 10 total guests total - including children. ✹ PETS: A maximum of three pets are permitted. The Pet fee is $180 for the first pet and $150 for the second pet and $120 for the third pet. If you bring 2 or 3 pets, let us know as Airbnb's system only allows us to charge for one pet automatically so we will have to send a request to pay those fees. Please note that pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. Additional cleaning fees will be imposed if pets have been allowed on furniture or beds. ☀ Submit guest info 4 days before arrival for community and amenity access or we will have to pay a $50 late fee and charge it back to you, and you may not have an acess to the amenities or dumpster. ☀ PARTIES: If you’re looking for a place to drink heavily or throw loud parties, please do NOT book with us. This home is in a quiet neighborhood and if guests get loud, neighbors will call the police. To clarify: We are not banning normal celebrations. You are absolutely welcome to have things like birthday dinners, bachelorette weekends, baby showers, etc. As long as: • Your group does not exceed the booked guest count • There is no loud music • No one treats the house like a club, frat party, or rager • No property damage or disruptive behavior Basically: celebrations are fine; wild and disruptive parties are not. If your plans involve big crowds, loud music, or anything resembling a house party, please choose a different place. Guest access You will have access to the entire home except for 1 locked owners closet located in the upstairs dining area. Other things to note The Towamensing Trails private community offers a lake, beach, and playground for you to enjoy, all just a 5-minute drive from the house. The outdoor pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. All guests must be registered with the community. As part of this process, guests are required to submit vehicle license plate information so we can obtain parking passes for use during your stay. The community office will issue vehicle tags and physical amenity badges (up to 8 maximum). These badges are required to access all community amenities, including the lake, beach, pool, arcade room, restaurant, and trash site. Our community HOA requires physical amenity badges to access shared amenities. Please note the following important details: • Badges are issued in a very limited quantity • The community office charges us for any missing or unreturned badges • Replacement badges are not immediately available and may impact future guests’ access Because of this, any lost or unreturned amenity badge will result in a $500 replacement fee per badge. This fee reflects HOA charges, administrative penalties, and the difficulty of replacing badges on short notice. To guarantee access to the community amenities, guests must complete their booking and submit the required registration information in advance. This includes the booking guest’s mailing address, cell phone number, and the license plate number and state for all vehicles being parked. We require this information at least 4 days prior to the start of your reservation. We can attempt to register guests the day before arrival (except on Sundays, when the community office is closed), but this cannot be guaranteed. Before checkout, please ensure all amenity badges are returned. We also ask that you send a quick photo at checkout showing all badges accounted for. Thank you for helping us stay compliant with community rules and ensuring a smooth experience for future guests. As there is no trash pick-up, the community requires guests to dispose of their trash. This is not in our control. The dumpster station is located a 6-minute drive from the property. Please drop off the trash upon checkout. Early check-ins and late check-outs are available for a fee. Discount Policy To keep pricing fair and consistent for all guests, we do not offer military, first responder, teacher, senior, student, healthcare worker, repeat guest, or any other special discounts. Our rates are already priced competitively and reflect the quality of the property, the amenities provided, and the high standard of hospitality we strive to deliver. The rate displayed at the time of booking is the best available rate, including any discounts already offered through the platform.
