This 3 bed/2 bath cabin is thoughtfully curated for an enjoyable stay. Amazing outdoor space, hot tub, stocked kitchen, and plenty of room to host family and friends! Smart TV, smart speaker, keyless entry, and a dedicated (EV) NEMA 14-50 OUTLET for charging. Families can use the pack 'n play, high chair, and baby gate. Outdoors: There is ample parking in the level driveway for 4 cars.. EV outlet is on the outside of the garage for easy access to plug in. Make sure you bring your own cord and appropriate plug to connect to it. There is an additional spot off the driveway for a boat or another car. Garage is used for firewood, outdoor gear, and miscellaneous storage. Motion lights are installed for your safety. There is a minimum of 3 steps to access the deck and home. Year round you can enjoy our amazing hot tub, and seasonally our roof top deck above the garage. Main Floor: Living Area with wood burning stove, Dining Room, Kitchen, one full bath with tub, laundry room with washer/dryer for your use, and one bedroom. Main floor bedroom: This has one queen bed. It faces East with morning sun filtering through window. Get a view of the front yard and hot tub. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with en suite balconies, and one full bath with shower stall. Primary bedroom: When you go upstairs to the left, you will find the primary bedroom at the end of the hall. This has beds for 4 people (one king, 2 stackable twins that can also be converted to a king), and a big closet with a pack 'n play for little ones. There are a fan and portable a/c unit located in the closet for the warm summer months. The balcony faces south, looking out onto the roof deck and empty lot full of trees. *Tip: to keep cool in summer, draw shades during the daytime, and at night, open up the patio door and let the cool mountain air in.* Upstairs bedroom: At the top of the stairs to your right you will find another bedroom. This has sleeping for 3 people (one queen, one pull out twin sofabed). Facing north, it gets the least amount of sunlight. Step out onto the balcony and catch a glimpse of the hot tub and trees surrounding it. **All bedrooms come equipped with blackout curtains, their own space heater to stay extra warm, and a humidifier. **Families: enjoy the conveniences of a pack 'n play, high chair, movable safety gate for stairs, and kid friendly plates/utensils. ** While we are dog friendly, please look after your pet. We are in the mountains with coyotes, bears, and other wildlife. We also offer a medium sized crate should you need to leave them at home. Max of 2 dogs per stay. You are about a 5 minute drive (or a 1.5 mile walk through the neighborhood) to the main area in Arnold, with some good food options. Travel a little further up to one of our favorites, The Lube Room, for a burger and beer on the back patio. In the warmer months, the cabin is a short drive to White Pines Lake, which is open to the public. You can swim, SUP, kayak, and fish. Within the neighborhood, there are multiple access points to the Arnold Rim Trail. You can also walk to Lakemont Pines lake and hike around it, although access to the lake is prohibited. Just minutes up Highway 4 is Calaveras Big Trees State Park where guests can spend the day admiring the giant sequoias. Further up the road is Lake Alpine, Utica and Union Reservoirs, and Bear Valley. Rent kayaks or canoes in the summer or spend a day skiing or snowshoeing in one of these beautiful spots. In addition to the great spots in Arnold, our cabin is close to many wineries and cute gold-country towns where guests can shop and relax with friends. Explore the towns of Murphys, Sonora, Columbia, and many others all just a short drive from your home base.
