Enjoy this large home, perfect for multiple families and friends! The house is >3,000 sq. ft. We’ve put so much thought into making your stay as comfortable and fun as possible. We hope you agree! Out of respect for the neighborhood no parties or events are permitted. ~Please be respectful of the neighbors while you visit this quiet community MAIN LEVEL The main level has three separate sitting areas, a large kitchen with two adjacent dining areas, and a designated office. The kitchen is open to the sunroom with wall to wall windows overlooking James Cove off Carters Creek. You'll also find two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and full bath (including tub) nearby and the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom offers an en suite bathroom and french doors that open to the deck overlooking the water. The deck also adjoins the main floor common area. LOWER LEVEL Downstairs, there is a gameroom, a bathroom, a TV room, three additional bedrooms, and laundry. Two of the bedrooms have two sets of pyramid bunk beds in each room - a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. The third bedroom downstairs has a queen bed with a water view. The lower level also includes a TV room with a large sectional couch next to the gameroom which has a ping pong table. Feel free to bring your own gaming systems, etc, for your own entertainment. Sliding glass doors walk out to a shaded outdoor patio with a sectional and picnic table for alfresco enjoyment of the blue crabs caught from the pier! The laundry room has a high capacity wash/dryer and a second refrigerator. OUTDOORS We have a new and expanded dock/pier. It is available for your use and at your own risk. Larger boats may be launched from nearby marinas and boat landings. The cove is about 3 feet deep at low tide. Multiple kayaks, paddleboard, floaties, and life jackets are available (or bring your own) for you to use to explore the cove and surrounding waterways! Users assume all risks. The water is swimmable and has a gradual grade. ~There is ample parking for up to 6 vehicles on the property. ~To allow emergency vehicle access, please only park in the provided gravel driveway Guest access The *NEW* pier/dock is the perfect spot to launch kayaks, dock larger boats, catch some fish and blue crabs. Larger boats may be launched from nearby marinas and boat landings. The cove is about 3 feet deep at low tide with deep water access. Multiple kayaks, paddleboard, floaties, and life jackets are available (or bring your own) for you to use to explore the cove and surrounding waterways! Other things to note During times of elevated water temperature and salinity, jellyfish or sea nettles are present in the water. Please be aware that they could cause an uncomfortable sting. As you would with other natural bodies of water, swim with caution. Fortunately, this typically corresponds with increased success with crabbing! Guest access Entire 1.5 acre property with pier is for guest use.
