Enjoy dinners on the deck overlooking the lake, a soak in the jetted tub, or a fire under the lit gazebo. 2 kayaks are provided for guests and a sandy swimming beach where you can launch them is just a quick stroll away! The space This beautifully appointed home boasts all new furnishings and central air conditioning for the utmost in comfort - all in a peaceful, idyllic setting where nature abounds. The living room on the main floor is the perfect spot to enjoy a fire in the gas stone fireplace, or walk out onto the large mahogany deck with glass railing for a seamless look out onto the lake or to grill on the gas BBQ. The open concept, well-outfitted kitchen provides all the amenities you'd expect, along with plenty of dining space. An assortment of popular board and card games that are fun and appropriate for the whole family are provided for your enjoyment. The private master bedroom upstairs features hickory hardwood floors, a divinely comfortable king bed, large screen WiFi Smart TV, and ensuite spa bath with breathtaking views of the lake. The other two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two singles, are located downstairs, but provide an equally lovely panoramic view. Downstairs you'll find a spacious bonus room with a brand new 50" television with streaming service (i.e. Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc). For the kids (or kids at heart), a Nintendo Switch is waiting. Or, if you're looking to unplug, take a book and have a seat in one of the comfy Adirondack chairs on the second lake-view deck. Make the most of your lakefront escape with two complimentary kayaks available for guest use. Paddle along the peaceful shoreline, take in the surrounding forest views, and enjoy a uniquely tranquil perspective of Lake Whatcom—an experience that turns a great stay into an unforgettable one. Fast WiFi is available throughout the home. Outside features an outdoor fire pit under a lit gazebo which looks out onto the lake - the ideal spot to roast marshmallows, enjoy the quiet solitude, or simply unwind with your drink of choice. There is a sandy swimming beach located just a few minutes (either walk or drive) from the house - the perfect place to swim, sunbathe, enjoy a picnic lunch, and launch our kayaks. Bellingham is a world-class destination for hiking, biking, boating, and a multitude of other activities - all of which are available within minutes of this conveniently situated home. Known for its walkable downtown and Fairhaven historic district, countless breweries (and distillery!), and popular restaurants and cafes, Bellingham is the perfect spot to spend some well-deserved quality time. Guest access The entire home and property, including two-car garage and additional driveway parking. Other things to note You'd be hard pressed to find a better "home base" for your visit to Bellingham. The peaceful setting and amazing lake views combine to provide a sense of calm that's simply unattainable elsewhere. The house is equipped with everything you could need, and then some: central air conditioning for those hot summer days, gas BBQ on the deck, comfortable new beds, new WiFi enabled TVs (with video games for the kids if you so choose), jetted en-suite tub in master suite that looks over the lake, fire pit under a lit gazebo, spacious deck for relaxing, all the needed kitchen amenities... the list goes on. No Events or Parties: House is located in a quiet neighborhood with neighbors nearby. As such, no parties/events are allowed. Note that the house manager lives across the street from the home. Fire Pit: Firewood is not provided for the firepit. It is available for purchase at the Sudden Valley Market just down the road. No Pets: No dogs or cats allowed.
