Your tires won't need to even touch gravel! (If you’re on gravel, you’re on the wrong property) it gets steep towards the top, but 4-wheel drive is not needed. Please drive slowly & cautiously in the neighborhood. When traveling through the neighborhood it is very important to be respectful of all of the animals that may cross the roads! (Cows, pigs, horses, dogs, etc!) There is plenty of parking (for 4 vehicles) but turning around can be difficult! • The House My wife and I have poured our hearts into this home. We've hosted our large family here and it was a dream come true. The layout is designed around visiting family, or getting away from them! with several different areas to interact and visit, or grab a little privacy to relax, this home is the ultimate family getaway. • Theater Room Featuring a 4k smart projector with complementary subscriptions to Disney+, HULU, and ESPN, a custom 120" screen and a Dolby Atmos 5.1 sound system. Kick back on the sectional or cozy up on a giant beanbag and enjoy a theater quality experience. *We have Starlink high-speed internet with a boosted signal dedicated for the theater room, but we still do occasionally experience buffering. Streaming in 4k can be demanding!* • Kitchen Fully equipped with a gas stove, gas convection oven, microwave, toaster, blender, refrigerator/freezer, rice cooker, pots/pans, cooking utensils, strainers, dishes, silverware, glasses, cutting boards, mixing bowls and more! we also stock consumables such as trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods, and dish soap. The ice maker and water supply are not hooked up to the refrigerator. • Coffee Station Stocked with 2 different coffee brewing methods. A stainless steel drip coffee maker and a Pour-Over coffee vase. We provide a certain amount of coffee and decaf for each reservation. We don't restock this supply if it all gets brewed up! • Dining Area Featuring a 10' long dining table with seating for 10-12, A high top table by the window with seating for 2, the kitchen island bar seats 4 and the mini bar seats 2. The dining area was designed with excess seating for those who love to entertain and spoil their guests. • Bedrooms 14" memory foam king mattresses can be found in 4 of the bedrooms and 2 14" queen mattresses can be found in the 5th bedroom. We provide pillows with varying levels of firmness so you can sleep comfortably with your preference. Mountain views can be seen from each room (Especially the master!) except the room with the double queen beds. 2 of the bedrooms downstairs are smaller than the rest, but there is a common area between them with a 9' couch and a smart tv for hanging out or reading a book! • Main Living Room a 17' high vaulted ceilings with a wall of windows peering out into breathtaking panoramic mountain views. The photos are beautiful, but they are nothing compared to the real thing! There is a high top table in the corner between the windows and sliding glass door with a study lamp and dedicated surge protector designed as a dedicated work space. • Sun Room Also called The Game Room, this room is flooded with natural light! 5 sliding glass doors and windows border the room surrounding you in nature. A pass-through window to the kitchen is there for you to stay apart of your family cooking while you play cards! Featuring a 6 person round table, a lounge area with smart tv, and direct access onto the main deck. • Bathrooms Each bathroom is stocked with hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. There is a full bathroom on each level. The master tub (jets do not work) features room for 2 with a view and a walk in shower with double shower heads, including a 14" rainfall fixture • The Mini Bar Stocked with various wine glasses, and high ball glasses • The Deck Do not climb or lean on outside railings, as this can result in serious injury • Internet We offer Starlink High-Speed internet. This is the fastest possible internet at this location and it works great most of the time! in our experience it only goes out for a few minutes at a time occasionally. For our use, it isn't noticeable. We have a wifi extender in the hallway downstairs, the signal coming from this extender is feeding signal to the projector. Tampering with this wifi extender is a violation of our house rules and will result in a maintenance fee equivalent to the amount my handyman will charge to set it back up! No refunds will be given as a result of an internet outage or slow internet speeds that may occur out of our control. • Cell Service Cell phone service is practically non existent. We recommend turning on Wi-Fi calling to solve this problem. • Pets We do not allow personal pets onto the property out of consideration for guests with allergic reactions! Guests that violate this house rule will be charged a fee of $500 plus damages. If you have a service animal please inquire with us before booking to see how we can accommodate. • Security We have 3 outdoor security cameras installed by the entry points for your protection and ours! No cameras or listening devices are installed inside the home. Guests that tamper with the outdoor security cameras will be asked to leave immediately • Bugs Our home employs regular pest prevention and is professionally cleaned between each reservation. We are immersed in nature at Carvers Cove, and bugs find their way inside almost immediately despite out best efforts to keep them out! You will likely see some dead or alive in the windowsills, or on the ceiling. This is the natural way of the world and it's all part of the experience in the mountains! Guest access Guests are permitted to access the property up to the surrounding barbed wire fence. Exploring beyond the fire pit area is off limits for your safety! The property becomes treacherous very quickly. We are in the process of converting our 2 car garage into a game room, feel free to use what we have setup so far. We have locked off 2 closets and a utility room in the home for owners use only and guests will not be allowed access to them. Other things to note Please drive slowly & cautiously in our private community (under 10 mph.) When traveling through the neighborhood to the house, it is VERY important to be respectful of all of the animals that may cross the roads (cows, pigs, horses, dogs, etc!) These animals are not used to a lot of traffic on our roads.
