Downstairs features a living room, dining room, kitchen, half-bath and a bedroom. There is a back deck with table and chairs for relaxing. This home is centrally located in Rockford and is convenient to everything! Owners live next door and are available to help if needed while also respecting your privacy. Master bedroom is very roomy with queen size mattress, nightstands with built-in phone chargers, lamps, dresser, mirror, closet with hangars and suitcase rack. Second bedroom upstairs features floor to ceiling natural wood shiplap for a log cabin feel. There’s a full size bed, nightstand with lamp and built-in USB port, dresser with mirror, and closet with hangars and suitcase rack. The bathroom has a tub and shower feature, toilet and sink. On the main floor is a living room with full size couch and 2 armchairs, 55” Smart HDTV with Sling, Netflix and other streaming services pre-installed (Sling TV is included with the rental but the other streaming services will require your login). The dining room has a 6-person table and chairs set. This is where the Nest thermostat is located. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, electric stove with double ovens, microwave oven, coffee maker (with supplied coffee and filters) and table and chairs for seating up to 6 people. There are plates, glasses, flatware and napkins for 8 guests along with pots, pans and baking sheets. Other utensils and small appliances are also included. Under the sink are supplies like dish soap, cleaning wipes and garbage bags. A garbage can and recycling can are provided under the sink as well. The main floor bathroom features a toilet and sink. The main floor bedroom has a full size bed, dresser with mirror, nightstands with lamps and a closet with hangars and a suitcase rack. In the basement there is a washer and dryer for you to use and we’ve included detergent pods for you to use. You have the entire house to yourself. We live next door to the Airbnb. The home is found in a quiet, well-established neighborhood that is centrally located in Rockford. 2 minute drive to: grocery shopping, gas stations, Rockford best sushi and Mexican restaurants, Dunkin Donuts, Snowboarding park, bowling, SwedishAmerican Hospital, public swimming pool and parks. 5 minute drive to: downtown Rockford, BMO Center, Riverview IceHouse, UW Sports Factory, Coronado Performing Arts Center, Rockford University, OSF Saint Anthony's Hospital, E. State Street shopping and dining. 10-15 minute drive to: Hurricane Harbor Water Park, CherryVale Mall, Interstate 90, Chicago Rockford International Airport, Sportscore, Rockford Rivets Stadium, Mercyhealth Hospital, Volcano Falls, Showplace 16. The driveway setup might look confusing- if you are looking at the house from the street, please use the driveway on the right side of the house. That will take you right to the garage and parking area. There is garage parking with remote for 2 vehicles plus parking for up to 6 other vehicles. UPDATED MAY 2023: There is major road construction happening outside of the home but the roads and driveways are still easily accessible to guests. There is a fireplace in the living room that is not functional until we get it inspected.
