Town Hut - Cozy haven on BVs mtn side, EV charging

We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A renewed log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. A few miles east of us is Cottonwood Pass with hot springs, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Or, bike or walk a mile to the east for restaurants and shopping, the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond. Note: There are many pet-friendly options nearby, but we do our best to provide an allergen-free studio for guests. The space The 544-sq-ft studio cabin includes a kitchen, family room, full bath, queen-sized bed and Casper Wave mattress, twin daybed and dining area (that can double for remote working or game night). Steps away from the hosts' farmhouse, the original cabin was built in 1949 and modern spaces added in 2017. (License number STR-236, Town of Buena Vista Colorado) Guest access The cabin sits in the center of the property and is all yours during your stay. To the north is an 1885 barn and the owner's studio; to the west, a small vernal pond; and across the driveway to the southwest is the main house where the hosts live. Other things to note We independently manage this single listing on airbnb -- our family guest house, a.k.a. the Town Hut -- and we hope you feel right at home! We're in a residential neighborhood just off west Main Street past Vista Court Cabins to the road's end. We share this part of Buena Vista's open space with the locals: lots of deer, foxes, birds, bees and the occasional bear. EV charging is available at the cabin for an additional fee.
