Maple Ridge Creek is a prime space for family, friends, retreats, & weddings. Three cabins, Sleeps 19 (Mobility Accessible in 1 cabin), Pet Friendly, each equipped with board games, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, kitchen. On the property enjoy the Rushing Creek, Fire Pit, Game Room, Commercial Kitchen, Group Dining Area, Foraging & Hiking in the forest and a sky full of Stars. The space “This is the best kept secret in the North Georgia Mountains!” (Guest S.S.) ☆☆THE PROPERTY☆☆ Maple Ridge Creek can manage your event AND provide sleeping accommodation for up to 19 people. The 3 cabins sit on a quiet 33 acres. Walk your pet in the 6-acre grassy field, lots of woods for hiking, as well as ½ mile of rushing creek. Come relax, explore, and enjoy with your family, friends, reunion, or other group. Don’t forget to look UP at the millions of stars at night, as there is very little light pollution. Our property is on Dooley Creek which has areas that are ankle deep and others up to waist deep. The creek is 6-10’wide, it is rocky, with some sandy sections. Walk the creek and explore or sit on the bank and catch fish for dinner! Plan a foraging walk with our onsite Naturalist. Your rental includes use of the Commercial Kitchen and a group dining / gathering area. The main firepit has chairs and benches for sitting. We provide plenty of firewood for all your days of your stay. There’s a nearby bin, under the Lodge Porch, with roasting forks, fire starter, lighters, and a bucket to put the fire out when you’re done. The game room is upstairs in the Lodge. Enter through the stairs in back. It holds a regulation pool table, air hockey, foosball as well as a lounge area and TV. Young guests must be accompanied by an adult. Guests are expected to protect the equipment. The picnic pavilion has 7 picnic tables, lighting for night use, and running water to rinse off muddy feet or pets. There is a propane grill for each cabin, and you are welcome to move them to the picnic pavilion, creekside, for fireside. Utensils and Cleaning tools are in a nearby bin under the Lodge Porch. There are full 50 amp hookups for 2 RVs to hold your additional guests. ☆☆GATHERING SPACES☆☆ The Lodge building has a downstairs dining room that seats 35 comfortably in a classroom setting or dining setting. The Lodge also hosts a fully outfitted commercial kitchen where you can prepare group meals or have catering services set up. The Conference Center can hold up to 150 people at tables and chairs or you can spread out for your art, basketry, or other learning program. The large picnic pavilion has 7 picnic tables that will seat 6-8 each. This is adjacent to the large field which can accommodate portable tents, inflatable games, and more outdoor fun. We have a small amphitheater area tucked in the woods that will be fun for your group to gather and celebrate. Contact us directly or through our website for rental of these facilities. We will gladly help you plan your event. ☆☆EACH CABIN☆☆ Chicory has a ramp for access to the front entry. The other two cabins have steps to a porch. Your own keypad entry for secure self-check-in, 100 Mbps Wi-Fi throughout the cabin and main areas of the property. All art in the cabins is by local artists – just ask and we will connect you to them. Each cabin has: A full bathroom upstairs and ½ bath downstairs. Zoned heat and air. Fully Equipped Kitchen All Linens for beds and baths Dining table with seating for 6+ Smart TV, Wifi, Board games, Puzzles, Books Seating area with couch and chairs ☆☆CHICORY CABIN☆☆ Chicory is Mobility Accessible, sleeps 6 and has a ramp for access to the front entry. Upstairs – King bed, 2 chairs that convert to single beds, ½ bath and desk. Linens for the single beds are under the King bed. Downstairs, a Queen Size Murphy Bed. The downstairs bath is accessible, walk in shower, shower chair, open access counters and sinks. ☆☆TRILLIUM CABIN☆☆ Trillium has steps to the front porch with 2 Rocking Chairs. Upstairs – King bed and 2 chairs that convert to single beds, ½ bath and desk. Linens for the single beds are under the King bed. Downstairs, another chair that converts to a single bed and a large couch. The downstairs bath is a full bath with tub – to make it easy for bathing children. ☆☆TROUT LILY CABIN☆☆ Trout Lily has steps to the front porch with 2 Rocking Chairs. Upstairs are 4 built in single beds – each with its own light, shelf, electric outlet and books. The ½ bath and a desk/shelf area round out the space. Downstairs a Queen Murphy bed in the living area. The downstairs bath is a full bath with tub for ease of bathing children. Guest access Guests enter onto our gated property as they turn in from the road. Then travel ¼ mile down a gravel drive to access the cabins. We prefer to greet each of guests when they arrive, however, for late arrivals each cabin is outfitted for self-check-in with a keypad lock for security and privacy. Guests are sent an email with their keypad code, Wi-Fi password, and our contact information prior to arrival. The welcome email also includes detailed driving instructions coming from any incoming direction to the property. Guests are asked to park in the designated areas. Chicory Cabin guests are welcome to park on either side of the access ramp for ease of access. Other things to note Location!
