Perched on a promontory at an altitude of 650m, the view is unobstructed over the valley which offers a beautiful surrounding opening. Other things to note NON-POTABLE WATER The tap water comes directly from a spring. It is stored in a tank that is regularly inspected and maintained before being piped to the house. The water is clear and clean, but it does not undergo regular testing to guarantee its potability. As a precaution, we therefore recommend that you do not drink it. Bottled water will be provided for your arrival. For the remainder of your stay, you can bring your own bottled water or fill your containers for free at the fountain located just below, near the Saint-May bar. PETS Only dogs are allowed, with a maximum limit of two. ACCESS TO THE MAIN BEDROOM The accommodation features a queen-size bed and a double bed in the bedroom. The bedroom is separate from the abbey’s main room, which houses the convertible sofa bed. It is accessed via the rounded wooden door visible in the main photo. To get from the bedroom to the living area, you must exit through that door and then enter via the main door located beneath the terrace. The bathroom is accessible from the living area. INTERNET / MOBILE NETWORK There is no Wi-Fi connection in the abbey. 3G/4G mobile service works primarily outdoors. We have set up a table in the garden at the spot with the best reception. However, the connection remains limited. It is generally sufficient for everyday use (emails, messages, and simple web searches), but we cannot guarantee it will be suitable for remote work, video conferencing, or streaming. CHAPEL AND PRIVACY The nearby chapel is open to visitors. However, its location does not overlook your living area. The abbey is situated on a private promontory that we own. You will thus be able to enjoy a completely unobstructed view of the valley and a particularly unspoiled setting.
