A short drive away is the botanical gardens, a rain forest, hiking, resorts with excellent restaurants - even a live volcano. The main villa, which has hosted Prince Phillip in the past, has lovely colonial architecture, has two bedrooms with en suite baths, king sized four poster beds and attractive common areas. The detached two story villa is divided into two apartments each with two bedrooms including beds that flexibly convert from king size to twins, two bathrooms, living room/kitchenette and long graceful verandas with cooling ceiling fans and spectacular views. Colibri Cottage is the perfect location for a small, intimate wedding, a family reunion or a group of friends (no more than 12) getting together. It is a quiet, peaceful villa perfect for unwinding and relaxing. A Smart TV is available in the living room & a housekeeper (Lavina) and resident grounds keeper (Randall) will do everything necessary to make your stay pleasant. There is daily cleaning, and bi-weekly linen changes. Lavina can cook breakfast. (Guest to supply groceries in all instances) Lunch can be prepared at an additional cost of US $75.00. Dinner service at an additional fee of US$115.00 per evening, payable to Lavina (this includes her taxi fare home). Personal laundry is available at a fee of US$10.00 per load.
