Welcome to our cottage in Brightwood! Just 20 mins from Mt. Hood’s ski areas and local gems like Trillium Lake, our home is your perfect base for adventure. Nestled along the main road, this charming 3-bedroom cottage is ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers. After a day of skiing, hiking, or exploring the mountain, relax in the open-concept living space or unwind on the patio with a firepit. Whether you're here for winter slopes or summer trails, this is your gateway to Mt. Hood! The space Our cottage is 20 mins from Government Camp and has everything you need for a truly relaxing and comfortable stay on Mount Hood! With full-size, modern appliances and a fully-stocked Coffee Bar, an oak dining table that expands to fit eight and a 55-inch TV, this is the perfect place for a private getaway. On the first floor you will find the kitchen which is fully stocked with all the appliances you’ll need to cook any meal including a crockpot, blender, pots and pans and more. Two of the bedrooms boast queen-sized beds and the third room has a full-size bed and a lofted twin. The couch in the living room can also be laid flat to offer additional sleeping space. On the second floor, you'll find a sunny reading nook for cozy relaxation before heading out to explore the many local hiking, biking, and skiing trails Mount Hood has to offer. Or, if your stay is greeted with a warm morning, use our coffee bar to make a pour-over or french-press with your choice of several local roasts and relax on the cottage's covered porch or back patio area. In the backyard you will find a patio space complete with picnic table, romantic overhead lighting, and a firepit with wooden patio furniture. (firepit removed during burn bans). Guest access You will have access to the entire home. Other things to note AC: We have a window unit in the living room space during the summer months. We do not have window units in the bedrooms. There are fans located in the bedrooms.
