The space This is a clean, modern cabin style, the design of which draws from the nature and beauty that surrounds it. It sits on 18 acres of land and borders 1600 feet of a babbling brook. It also has a refreshing pool for cold plunges. Fish, take a dip, explore or just sit by it and let the gentle sounds of flowing water relax you. The cabin is located just 6 miles from the year-round Jay Peak Resort, which offers skiing, an indoor water park, golfing, ice skating and events. The long trail is nearby for hiking along with snowmobile trails and mountain biking trails. There are no steep hills or non-maintained roads to the property. It is situated just off Rt. 242 on a town maintained road, with a flat driveway and plenty of parking, so you don’t have to wonder if you are going to be able to make it in and out. This is the perfect place for families and friends. Stay busy outside in the summer playing tetherball, basketball, corn hole, volleyball and swimming in the waterhole. Walk the trails around the property or lay in the hammock. Sit by the fire and connect with each other under the big, open sky up in the mountains. Feel free to bring tents and use the ample amount of outdoor space to set up and sleep outside! All while having a comfortable house for those who appreciate a less adventurous sleep! The surrounding areas have beautiful lakes, scenic drives and unique experiences. Visit Montgomery’s wonderful covered bridges and swimming holes. The charming village of Montgomery Center is conveniently located only 2 miles from the cabin and has many shops in its quaint downtown. There you will find gift shops, bike shops, a salt cave, spas, restaurants and a grocery store. The delicious Belfry restaurant is only a 1/4 mile away from the property. Everything you need is nearby, yet when you come home to the cabin you feel like you are secluded in a beautiful mountain paradise. The cabin itself has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. All of the bedrooms are upstairs. One bedroom has a queen bed with a chair, dresser and TV. The second bedroom has 4 twin beds, a dresser and a closet. The third bedroom suite has a king bed, dresser, sitting area with two large chairs, TV and attached bathroom. The beds are memory foam, the towels are plush and the furniture and bedding is new and clean. Everything has been chosen and maintained with your ultimate comfort in mind. Downstairs the property has a living room with a gas fireplace and many wood features including open beams, crafted right from the land, and wood floors. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and dishwasher. The dining room has a table and chairs that seat 8. Another full bathroom is located downstairs. The many windows and skylights throughout the cabin pull the light in and provide a view of the lovely surrounding mountain ranges. This property is fully maintained by our family so comfort, safety, cleanliness and attention to detail is always a priority. We invite you to come relax, unwind and be treated like good friends.
