The property manager, Faith, is available locally. Edgewood is a hamlet of Hunter, but we have no post office, so technically, you are in Lanesville. We only have one restaurant, Amy's Take Away. She makes the best soup around! Parking is plentiful and the roads well-maintained in winter. Uber and Lyft have recently come to the area. We also have a local taxi service based out of Tannersville, "Smiley's Taxi." In summer months, the Kaaterskill Trolley makes the rounds through surrounding main streets, popular trailheads, and all the way down to Palenville. For NYC Residents: the most cost-effective way to rent a car is to take the Metro North to Poughkeepsie then Uber to one of the car rental places (e.g. Enterprise). You can also catch the Trailways Bus from Port Authority and request the driver to drop you at Ostrander Road on 214 when you board. The master bedroom has an AC window unit, while the queen bedroom has its own AC unit. Additionally, the twin bedroom features an oscillating fan.
