There are no doors on the upper bedrooms, but a privacy curtain between the loft and master bedroom. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and bidet. The kitchen is fully stocked and wifi is very fast (300 mbps). Wall units provide heat and A/C to the downstairs and bedrooms. The whole house also has a great radiant heating system and wood stove for the winter. The living room has a 65" TV, Roku, DVD player with DVDs and a chest full of games. The two recliners and sofa couch are plush and comfortable for relaxation. The dining room has seating for 6 and a bookcase. The well water has a water softening system and is fresh & tasty. Outside the home has many wonderful features including a large porch with views of the valley, outdoor furniture, hammock and firepit. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, driveway and backyard. There are locked owner's closets and locked linens cabinet. Other things to note Do note, our cabin is on a mountain, which means you may see deer, woodpeckers, butterflies, lots of birds, and the occasional bear - be careful about leaving food outside! That said, bugs are everywhere and a part of the natural environment. We have regular pest treatments and try to keep exterior doors and windows closed to prevent nature from coming inside. As a heavily wooded area, allergens are also everywhere and vary seasonally. In the winter, we strongly recommend 4WD or AWD to navigate the last portion of the paved road uphill and flat gravel road to the home. We encourage you to explore and enjoy nature - just mind the steepness of the rocky terrain. Hikers do get lost on the Appalachian Trail, so we do encourage you to prepare and practice safe hiking.
