Beautiful Bird Rock! 3bed, Ocean View (Summer)

This Birdrock house is available for summer rental (June and July) We offer a cozy locals-only hideaway with strong Wifi and in the center of Birdrock. You'll enjoy staying-in and hanging out on the balcony. You'll also love walking around the safe Birdrock neighborhood, strolling down a few blocks to the ocean or walking to the grocery store. The beaches are open to stroll, surf or kayak. Dogs welcome as well. The space The home was built in the 1930's so it has a very classic flair and history about it which makes it a fun and unique property. Just blocks from the heart of downtown Birdrock, incredible restaurants most which have take-out so that you can bring home and eat on the balcony. We're located about 1.2 miles from the La Jolla cove and 4 blocks from a scenic ocean cliff. The neighborhood is safe, friendly and there's plenty of street parking available. A private outdoor deck is a natural extension of the Spanish style interior living area. Large french doors open and virtually disappear, magically blending the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly. A dining table for 6, propane grill, and ambient lighting help create this wonderful outdoor living space. Facing the ocean, you will have an endless supply of fresh ocean air and enjoy unforgettable colorful sunsets. A large awning can be opened to create a more shaded patio area for the sunny afternoon hours. Have a fur baby? We have a completely fenced in property so your pup is free to run and play outside off leash. A luxurious queen-size bed offers divine comfort in the Master Bedroom. The Guest Bedroom features two twin-size beds. The 3rd bedroom is downstairs with its own bathroom and shower. All three bedrooms boast flat screen TVs with Netflix and Amazon Prime for endless entertainment. The upstairs bathroom is decorated in a stylish Spanish color scheme and has a shower/tub combination. Perfect for the little ones. The downstairs bathroom is small, with a tub to help clean off after a day at the beach. The Kitchen is open to the rest of the living room and has what you need to cook, and everything is within reach. The high end appliances blend the old world Spanish style of the cottage with modern conveniences. Guest access When you enter the Spanish gates to the cottage, you will find yourself in a courtyard where we keep the surfboards and bikes (the beach chairs and coolers are kept in back). You can enter through the tall door straight ahead, or go up the side stairs to through the kitchen. Other things to note We have installed room air conditioning in each bedroom which allows relief from the few warmer months (generally mid-July to mid-October). To cool down the rest of the house, a wonderful cross breeze can be created by opening the french doors and windows in the main living areas.
