Deer Ridge Cabin CT can sleep 4 adults and 2 kids. It has two bedrooms on the main floor with a queen bed each. The loft is located over the kitchen and has a queen mattress. The loft is suited for kids 8 years and older as they must climb a steep ladder to get to it. Kids love the loft!! Loft is Not recommended for adults. Access to the private beach is a short 3-4 minute walk from the cabin, also the boat launch. The location is ideal! there are so many places to visit and events throughout the year that are interesting and fun. You can visit the Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden, which is just down the road, as well as March Farm where you can get amazing fresh cider donuts, delicious pies, and fresh produce or go apple, strawberry picking when in season. There are many other farms nearby along with several wineries. The Antique Row in Woodbury it's just a few minutes away. If you like hiking and enjoying nature, Nonnewaug Falls and other national parks are nearby. Quiet and serene neighborhood in a private community, where you can enjoy the exclusive use of the private beach and the boat launch. Centrally located in the Northwest Connecticut and the Litchfield hills. Close to many attractions and local events. The property has a parking area for two cars and it is located a short walk to Long Meadow Pond where you can swim, fish, kayak, paddle board, etc. No lifeguard is on duty. Children under the age of 12 must be closely supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Deer Ridge Cabin CT belongs to an association with access to a private beach and boat launch at Long Meadow Pond which is a large pond located in Litchfield Hills in CT. This pond is great during summer months for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and paddleboarding. During winter if it's cold enough, you could ice skate and go ice fishing!
