Many first-time visitors think that the only way to get into Acadia is through the Park Loop Road in Bar Harbor, but in reality the park is spread out all over Mount Desert Island (and beyond) and is connected via the extensive Carriage Road and trail system. The closest access point is the Western Mountain connector road, just 1/4 mile from our door! Q: How many vehicles can I park? A: The driveway has a capacity for up to three vehicles. Q: Is early check-in available? A: Unfortunately we are unable to offer early check-in as we almost always have a group checking out the same day as the next one arrives. We need the entire time between groups to properly clean and prepare the space for your arrival. Q: Are pets allowed? A: Yes, pets are allowed at Brook House for an additional fee.
