Cozy vacation apartment "The Zugspitze" for up to 8 people in Ehrwald consisting of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (bedroom 1 has a shower and a sink additionally in the room), living room with dining table, kitchen with sitting area and 2 balconies. A Finnish sauna with lounging area, a ski cellar with ski boot heating, a bicycle cellar with eBike charging stations, washing machine and dryer are located on the ground floor and are available to our guests free of charge. The space Are you looking for space for many? Then you are right with us. "The Zugspitze" is one of the three spacious and well-equipped vacation apartments in our house "Das Wetterstein". "Das Wetterstein" is located directly at the foothills of the Zugspitze and yet centrally located in the middle of the idyllic Tyrolean village of Ehrwald. A house with history, tradition and time-honored charm, in which the first guests were already received in 1860. Although the "Zugspitze" offers space for up to 8 people (approx. 110sqm), each guest will nevertheless also find his personal retreat for undisturbed moments. "Zugspitze" is located on the top floor of the Wetterstein and exudes a special flair due to the roof slopes, which are partly covered with wood. Not only Tyrolean tradition but also modern comfort skillfully merge into each other. In the fully equipped kitchen with electric stove incl. oven, extractor fan, Nespresso machine, Nespresso milk frother, filter coffee machine, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, kettle and a cozy sitting area you can cook to your heart's content and spend sociable evenings with family or friends. Since it is our special concern to make our guests' stay as carefree and relaxed as possible, we have also equipped the kitchen with the most important cleaning products and dish towels. For fun evenings with family or friends, there is a sufficiently large living room with dining table and couch. In short, a living area with charm and character that invites you to spend carefree hours. From the living room you can also access one of the two balconies. We hope that you can enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful view of the mountain scenery of the Zugspitzarena just as we do. Just as dreamlike as romantic is always the fabulously clear starry sky. If you want to do your laundry, you are welcome to use the washing machine and dryer in our laundry room on the first floor at any time. Detergent, iron and ironing board are also available. To avoid unnecessary luggage, bed linen towels and "start" toilet paper are of course also available. You want to relax after a wonderful day in the snow? Then do so and relax in our spacious sauna with lounging area on the first floor. Included are furthermore parking spaces, WLAN , SAT-TV, a storage room for bicycles incl. 5 charging stations for e-bikes and a ski storage room with ski boot heating available. "Die Zugspitze" also represents the ideal starting point for the numerous excursion possibilities in the Tyrolean Zugspitzarena. Due to the unique central location in the middle of Ehrwald, the best infrastructure is given. Numerous shopping facilities and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The ski bus stop is only about 30 meters away. For our guests there is also free admission to the family pool / indoor adventure pool, the artificial ice rink (only in winter) and the climbing hall Ehrwald. All of this can be reached on foot in a very short time. In addition, every guest receives a guest card, with which you can, for example, use the ski bus for free and receive numerous other discounts. We are sure that you will experience an unforgettable vacation in summer as well as in winter. Our apartment is the ideal starting point for hikes in beautiful nature, for mountain biking, for a round of golf at the beautifully located 9-hole golf course, for swimming, horseback riding, climbing, playing tennis and much more. Your children will also feel at home. We personally think that the waterfall trail in Ehrwald, Mosles Explorer Trail or Mosles Magic Forest in Lermoos are always worth a visit. Of course, there is also fun to be had on the summer toboggan run or riding a monster scooter in the neighboring village of Biberwier. Would your children perhaps like to see marmots or raccoons up close? The animal and play park Bichlbach with its own petting zoo is only about 10 minutes away by car and makes children's eyes sparkle. On request, we are also happy to provide a travel crib and high chairs for children. Children's toys, board games and books are located on the 2nd floor in the stairwell. A special highlight is the electronic access system by code. So every guest has his "own key". The code opens both the entrance gate of the house and the apartment door to "Die Zugspitze. In winter, 142 perfectly groomed kilometers of slopes in almost all degrees of difficulty await you and your loved ones in the skiing area of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. From easy slopes for beginners and families to challenging downhill runs, everything is there. 56 modern mountain railroads guarantee snow fun, powder snow and pure mountain hut fun. With the free ski bus you can reach the ski areas Zugspitzblatt, Ehrwalder-Alm, Grubigstein, Marienberg and Berwang-Bichlbach in a few minutes. The 23 kilometers of slopes of the ski area Ehrwalder Wettersteinbahnen are only about 1 km away from our house. Apart from skiing, the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena has much more to offer in winter. Not only kilometers of cross-country skiing trails, snowshoeing, ice skating, tobogganing and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides make hearts beat faster, but also the culinary delights in one of the numerous rustic huts. Enjoy fantastic Tyrolean cuisine and let yourself be enchanted by the winter landscape. Absolutely recommendable are the high-altitude hiking trails around Ehrwald and Lermoos. These can be walked even in winter without any problems and grant on the one hand a brilliant view into the valley and on the other hand to the surrounding mountain peaks.
