Cliffside Barndominium! Hot Tub and Pet friendly!

Our Texas sized, pet friendly Barndo is a 3,800 sq. ft. Lake House, located on ~3 acres overlooking Toledo Bend Lake. Our spacious Barndo sleeps 16 in beds with additional space for air mattresses. We are on a bluff above the lake which offers stunning panoramic views of Toledo Bend Lake and beautiful sunsets. If you are coming to enjoy water activities, we are conveniently located between 3 boat ramps (~1 mile away). Shore fishing/swimming is available just 1 mile away at Holly Park Marina. The space Our Texas sized Barndominium on ~ 3 acres overlooking Toledo Bend Lake! The home features 5B/3B plus four built-in twin-XL bunk beds and a full size futon. The large kitchen/dining/living area opens onto a large covered back patio. Kitchen features beautiful quartz countertops, huge kitchen island, huge walk-in pantry and two full size ovens. Two bedrooms, two full baths and laundry room are on first floor. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, full bathroom, built in bunk beds, large entertainment room with pool table, separate sitting area, third floor bonus loft and a large, covered deck accessed through double french doors. We have added a full size crib and a high chair for your convenience. Outside you will enjoy panoramic lake views, picturesque skies, and eagles soaring by. The house also features a large firepit area, an extra sitting deck, and a large pond. We are dog friendly! A pet fee of $75 covers up to 2 dogs. Make sure to select “pet” at checkout and send me the weight/species of the pet(s). We appreciate honesty with respect to our pet policy and prefer not to depend on our exterior surveillance system. We have a double deep, double wide carport with electricity for parking and charging your boat. While there is no direct access to the water from the Barndo, we are very conveniently located between three boat ramps, only ~1 mile in either direction from our property (Newell’s, Captains Fishing Place, and Holly Park Marina). Holly Park Marina allows free shore fishing and swimming from their boat launch area, 1 mile from our property. If you want to fish from their pier, you can go inside to register. It’s $5.00 a car load. You will pass Holly Park just before the Patroon Creek Bridge on your way to our property. They also have a grill that is open from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm daily. The Barndominium features: * 5 beautiful bedrooms (1 King Bed, 4 Queen Beds). It also features 4 Built in Twin Bunk Beds (each with its own adjustable sconce lighting and power source for charging phones, tablets, etc.), a full size futon sleeper, rollaway bed, and a baby crib. There is plenty of space on our 2nd and 3rd floor lofts for air mattresses and/or sleeping bags. * 3 Full Bathrooms (2 downstairs, 1 upstairs) * Great Room features a 65” flatscreen TV and fantastic views of the water. * FREE WiFi * Fully equipped kitchen has stainless appliances, beautiful quartz counter-tops with huge island and 2 full size ovens which makes baking for large family gatherings a breeze. Kitchen features a pots and pans, dishes and silverware, blender, Keurig coffee maker, and more. SEASONAL HOT TUB: October 1 - April 30. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! (Seasonal) - Cypress Bend Golf Resort and Marina – (28 mi.) Extremely nice golf resort on the lake with a great restuarant. Kids can also swim on the sand beaches at the marina. - Historic Natchitoches District - (63 mi.). Experience great dining and shopping along the Cane River on Main Street! A guest favorite day trip!!! - Dark Woods Adventure Park - (60 mi.) - Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame – (62 mi.) See all the athletes that made it into the hall of fame. - Gator Country LA Alligator Park - (65 mi.) Located directly on the famous “Chicken Coop”, a stretch of the Sabine River bed that touches the west side of the lake and stays close to shore for nearly 2 miles. This prime fishing area is well known to locals as The Chicken Coop. This crappie hole was named such because of several large commercial chicken houses that once lined the top of the ridge near the river bank. This deep stretch of the river is has developed a reputation over the years of producing almost unbelievable numbers of crappie for approximately six to eight weeks during the winter, depending on weather conditions. Largest Man-Made Lake in the South! Toledo Bend is a recreational treasure of the south, known as the largest human-made lake in the southern United States. The lake is known as one of America’s five best bass fishing spots with 14-pound bass records. Sabine National Forest! Sabine National Forest claims 160,656 acres along the lake’s western shore. The park features many family-friendly camping locations. The park’s list of activities is endless, including boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, and mountain biking. Guest access Guests have access to entire barndominium. Other things to note We are on a bluff above the lake so you do not have direct access to the water.
