Our favorite discovery was finding the hardwood floors under the old tiled floors. Opening up the kitchen to the living room and adding a washer + dryer in home was another addition that helped make the space flow. Our 2 bedroom, 1 bath home is just minutes from Downtown Fort Worth, Sunset Square, Fort Worth Zoo, TCU, 7th Street, Fort Worth Convention Center and the Cultural District. We stay during the week and are happy to share it with you on the weekends! We enjoy our fully stocked home and know you will too when you arrive. If you want to stay longer than we have available, just ask; we are owner + operated and may be able to accommodate your travel with enough notice. For Peace of Mind, we have installed a security system on property. Guests will have access to disarm the code with your day of check-in instructions. A Ring Doorbell is installed at the front door. NO CAMERAS IN HOUSE! Cowtown Honey Hive is located in a quiet, working-class residential neighborhood in the North Side Historic District. With full disclosure, you will have some light traffic noise during rush hours as residents leave early in the mornings and return home late afternoon to early evening. There will be some noise during "social hours" and on weekends as we are a short walk to the Stockyards and within city limits. Sometimes we can even hear the local bands playing from the Stockyards. Earplugs and a sound machine are provided for light sleepers. We live in the home on weekdays while we office in the Stockyards. This has allowed us to immerse ourselves within the neighborhood and not only get to know our neighbors but have a relationship with them. Our family enjoys our evening walks down into the Stockyards for ice cream at Melt in Mule Alley or to listen to live music at Second Rodeo Brewing. During your stay you will have access to us, your hosts, for any questions or problems that may arise along with a fully detailed guest book and pre-arrival house instructions. Please note that you are staying in a home and not an on-site, fully staffed hotel. We are here to work together with you to come to a solution while you are our guests.
