A Spectacular Retreat with Amazing Mountain Views!

This resort-style condo combines the best of Tucson: - easily the best location in the foothills of the gorgeous Catalina mountains, near the best hiking trails Ventana and Sabino canyons and Mount Lemmon; - the best location in the complex, on the last line of buildings, immediately adjacent to the Ventana nature trail, with unobstructed views of the mountains and complete privacy; - a stylish Spanish style décor after a 2021 complete renovation with high end materials and furniture. The space The ultimate blend of relaxation, nature connection, adventure, and recreational possibilities, such as mountain hiking directly out of the door, and the best road cycling in the country. The condo complex has a lit tennis court, two swimming pools, hot tub, and a gym. The condo itself is a spacious and bright 2-BR, 2-Bath, with an open floor plan, massive windows with an unforgettable view of Catalina mountains, and a large garden-style patio overlooking the Catalinas. It is on the ground level, with no stairs to climb. The apartment has been fully remodeled in 2021, with high end features and a stylish décor. It is fully furnished and will have all the basics, whether you are here to relax and enjoy the resort, climb Mount Lemmon, or take yourself to a new level in cycling (this is our passion and we will be happy to share recommendations and ideas for your time here!). The master bedroom features a king bed with a top-of-the-line mattress. You will wake up to spectacular mountain views right out of the bedroom window and enjoy your morning coffee on the patio, well screened from the Summer heat by mature vegetation. Please note that we didn't put shades on the picture window in the living room to enjoy views and birdwatching. The patio was screened in 2023 to make you able to enjoy it as much as you want. The guest bedroom features a queen bed with a new pillow-top mattress. The living room features a very comfortable Room and Board pull-out sleeper couch (two additional guests can sleep on it - subject to be approved upon request) and a recliner. There is a 43 inch screen UHD Samsung Smart TV in the living room. You can stream free content from the system or sign in into your Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Netflix etc account. We have a high speed internet with Comcast. Also you can watch additional cable channels in the community clubhouse which is just steps from our building. There is no landline in the unit. Our guests don't complain about cell reception. In case your cell phone provider has a poor signal in the area you can always use a WiFi calling option. Guest access Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires an unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay. The guest's room closet is locked and not accesible for guests. Other things to note Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Pets policy: absolutely no pets in the condo due to heavy allergy issues in our family: our son has breathing issues associated with the exposure to pets. Please make sure you lock the front door by the thumb turn when you are inside and by touchscreen (button with a lock) when you go away. It doesn't lock by itself. There is wildlife in the area due to the proximity of Catalina Mountains and the nature of Tucson. Please don't keep the front door opened and unattended to avoid wild species, like mice, scorpions, spiders etc, coming inside the condo. We had some issues in the past when our guests didn't follow these simple rules. We have a contract with a local pest control company to address any issue in case it happens. The outside common area of the complex is under pest control management by HOA. We don't provide laundry detergent, please bring your own if you need it. We provide basic supplies for up to 2 weeks of staying. There are no restrictions for using pools, gym and no reservation is required. In case you would like to play tennis please let me know and I will send you a link to book the tennis court (1,5 hour per day). To access pools, gym, tennis courts and Ventana Community trail ( near building #9) you will use the same key which you can find in the kitchen drawer or in the entry closet. Please put it back before you check out. This Common Area key may not be duplicated. A replacement key cost is $50. Please note that our Saltillo tile floors are unfortunately vulnerable to scratching. This is why we attached felt and other protectors to the furniture. We kindly ask you to avoid moving hard objects or roll suitcases on the floors. In addition we do not allow to move or rearrange furniture because previous guests did it and scratched tiles. Also, we ask that you remove any spills as soon as possible. Please pay attention when you open and close the French doors ( master suite and patio): the right door of each set should be closed on the top latch and please use only the left door to avoid any damage. Don't forget to close all doors and windows when you leave the condo. We had some issues in the past when our guests left them unlocked. Thank you very much for your understanding.
