Ours is a romantic 200-year-old architectural wonder built for one of San Juan's earliest rum barons and remains one of the most beautiful properties in The old city. It features soaring, 18-foot ceilings, cathedral-style acoustics, marble floors and Moroccan tiles. You'll be surrounded by simple beauty, shower in a gigantic Roman spa, cook in an inspirational kitchen and listen to the coqui frogs in your private courtyard. The space It's hard to describe in words what makes this property unique. You really have to just walk into it to have your breath taken away. The 200 year old exposed brick, the towering arches, Moroccan details... It's really a property that you have to experience first hand. Guest access This is for the entire bottom floor apartment including the inner courtyard. Other things to note Longer Stays: For longer stays, we will include weekly cleaning service. Additional services, such as yoga instructors, massage, acupuncture, and other wellness activities can be arranged directly to the house. Water & Power Fiona Update: WE HAVE WATER AND POWER! Please note that in general on the island, Old San Juan and Puerto Rico regularly experience issues relating to power and water outages. This house has a 36,000 gallon underground water cistern, so we never run out of water! Power does go out occasionally in the area but is usually restored within a few hours. We are hoping that the new power company on the island will be successful in creating a stronger grid island-wide!
