Description

Marfa House Bandolero Suite is a second-floor two-bedroom/two bath apartment located in a restored adobe in the historic district of Marfa, steps from downtown restaurants, galleries, and shops. The sun-lit apartment features a full kitchen and dining area, and a living room with Roku TV, a gas fireplace, and original artwork. Guests also have access to common areas, including a spacious gallery with gas fireplace, a second-floor balcony, and a screened atrium with large TV and firepit. The space Bandolero is a comfortably furnished second-floor two bedroom/two bath apartment with a full kitchen and dining area, and a living room featuring original art, Roku TV, and a gas fireplace. Efficient mini split heating and AC throughout, together with ceiling fans, ensure comfortable ambiance. Solid hardwood beds and premium linens, together with ample seating are features of the bedrooms. Glorious light in this apartment makes it popular with our guests. Guest access Bandolero guests access the property by walking up the paved and lighted walkway to a gated courtyard at the rear of Marfa House, entering the screened atrium entry with a keycode, and into the downstairs hall with a keycode. Bandolero is on the second floor immediately on the right at the top of the stairs, entered with its own keycode. All guests have access to the common areas: the front gallery, the front balcony, and the screened atrium with firepit and a large-screen TV. Other things to note Marfa is a railroad town: established in 1883 as a water stop on the Southern Pacific Railroad. Marfa House was a railroad hotel and is still located 100 yards from the SP tracks. Trains pass through up to 12 times a day and sound their air horns at the three main crossings in town, so guests may hear TRAIN SOUNDS at any time of the day or night. Most of our guests are not bothered, and we believe this is part of the romance of West Texas.
