Quiet location close to Manuka and Kingston. Surrounded by imposing trees and greenery this spacious home is only a short walk or drive to restaurants and shops. It is also close to key tourist attractions surrounding Lake Burley Griffin. With two living areas inside and very private gardens and decks outside it is a lovely house to relax in. Easily accessible and beautifully renovated the house has a bathroom for each bedroom. Parking is under cover and at the door, behind secure gates The space The property has its own driveway access to a covered parking area. Plenty of room for a trailer if needed. There are just two steps to the entry deck. The open plan living room and kitchen is the entry area to the house. The rooms are light and bright with hardwood floors in the living areas. The kitchen is a chef's delight but there are also great restaurants within walking distance. Adjoining the living area is a dining room and lounge room with a gas log fire. The dining table can also double as a work space given its size and privacy from the living area. Each bedroom has its own beautiful bathroom attached. There is a washing machine and clothes line if needed. Heating is new air conditioning with a gas log fire in the lounge. The house is very cosy on the cold winter nights and beautifully cool in summer as it is also shaded by a giant Chinese elm. Guest access The whole property is available for guests to relax in. It is a self check-in home with private and easy access. The garden surrounding the property is private and just for guests. Other things to note The main bedroom has a queen size double bed. The second bedroom has a king double or split it to make two singles. It is usually set up as a double but can easily be split into two singles. Single duvets are in the cupboard. The WIFI is superfast fibre to the home so whether streaming or working the result will be excellent. For those given permission to bring a pet the rules are no pets on furniture or the carpeted area. There is a vacuum provided to ensure any hair is removed prior to departure. Outside the yard must be left clear of any pet waste. There is an additional cleaning charge applied if this is not the case!
