Best of all, your furry friends are always welcome here! Take in the sights and sounds of Bucks County – there's something for everyone. Enjoy breweries, shopping, river towns, hiking, biking, fishing, and boating. Or simply stay at home and watch as wildlife wander through your backyard. The space Relax and Unwind at The Glen: A Perfect Getaway from Home Start your day by snuggling up with a cozy blanket and a cup of coffee on the couch while watching the sunrise through the bay window. If you're feeling hungry, the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops makes meal preparation a breeze. Take advantage of the beautiful outdoors on the 30' x 30' deck, complete with custom-made furniture. With seating for six at the dining table, two sun loungers, and a sitting area, you'll have plenty of opportunities to relax under the trees with unobstructed views of the backyard and neighboring fields. The breathtaking sunsets are a must-see at The Glen, where the sky comes alive, and the deer make their daily graze through the backyard. Sit by the cozy firepit and enjoy the celestial show. As night falls, retreat to one of two Queen bedrooms, each fitted with ceiling fans, sound machines, and new high-quality mattresses and linens to ensure a good night's sleep. The single floor rancher also features two full baths, one with a tub and the other with a shower. Need to catch up on work? The private office includes an antique writing desk and typewriter (which can be moved to make room for more modern equipment), as well as fast Wi-Fi for all your online requirements. Additionally, a velvet green couch can be pulled out to a twin bed if you require extra sleeping space. When you arrive at The Glen, there is ample parking for your vehicles. A secure garage is available to you if you need to lock up bikes, motorcycles, or anything else. There is plenty of space for a trailer if you choose to bring a boat to explore the nearby lakes with. We are a 5-minute drive to downtown Perkasie where there is a great assortment of small-business locally owned shops including coffee, art, clothing, yoga studio, antiques, florist and gifts, bakeries, cafes, multiple breweries, restaurants and much more. Lenape Park bike trails are a ¼ mile down the road from our home. Lake Nockamixon and Lake Galena (Peace Valley Park) are an easy 10 minute drive for boating, walking, cycling, mountain biking, horseback riding, and hunting. Our neighboring towns have even more to explore with a brand new indoor market and brewery in Dublin, and the Washington House Theater and Restaurant in Sellersville. Outside of Perkasie (under a 30-minute drive) are the beautiful towns of Doylestown, New Hope, Lambertville, Lahaska, Lumberville, and all the scenic roads you can imagine. Welcome home! Guest access Guests have access to our home, garage and beautiful 1.5 acres around us. Other things to note We welcome you to use our home and property but please be respectful of our neighbors and their property lines. There is a happy brood of pups next door that will not bother you, but please keep your pets under control or on leashes at all times. We are in a rural area so you will encounter deer, groundhogs, the occasional fox, and other critters – another reason to keep pets close by.
