The Cabin at the Ozarks is home to beautiful views of the Lake of the Ozarks, perfect for your weekend getaway, bachelorette party, family reunion, fishing trip, group retreat and more! Situated in a private cove at mile marker 28, you can spend your days fishing off the dock, kayaking in the lake, relaxing in the screened-in gazebo or tanning at the dock. Should you want to bring a boat, we can accommodate that too. Whether summer or winter, you will always find something to do at Osage Beach. The Cabin is tucked away in the woods, with direct access to the lake from our dock. We maintain a very nice home that is geared towards families/friends who will respect and take care of our home as if it were theirs. The main floor has of a fully renovated and stocked kitchen, open living room, dining table for 6, 1 full bathroom with a shower, laundry room, office area, and beautiful views as you step out through the french doors and onto the large balcony. The 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with a tub- 3 of the bedrooms have 1 queen bed and the 4th bedroom has a bunk bed with a full mattress on bottom and twin mattress on the top (this room also has an office space.) Outside you will find a gas grill, outdoor table and a guest favorite-screened in porch! Our guests have loved the screened in porch during all seasons (we provide an electric heater that guests can take outside with them) to enjoy the views and sounds of the peaceful night. If you want to lay back, take in your surroundings and watch the stars, you can do so at the lower balcony - on the 2 adirondack chairs. BOAT INFORMATION: We are at MM 28. We do allow guests to use our dock at no additional charge if they would like to bring a boat or rent one while at the lake. We only have enough space for 1 boat at our dock and the covered slip is 24’ long by 10’ wide. LAUNCHING YOUR BOAT: The boat would need to be launched elsewhere, it CANNOT be launched at the cabin. We recommend Surdyke Yamaha (closest at MM 26), Linn Creek Cove, or the State Park Marina to launch your boat. PARKING YOUR TRAILER: Your boat trailer (as well as any other trailer) would need to be parked elsewhere, due to the steepness and limited space at the property. Surdyke Yamaha (closest at MM 26) and the State Park Marina offer parking spots for a small fee. Everything in the cabin, yard, and dock, except the jet skis, are yours to use during your stay. As you pull onto the main road to access our cabin you will notice commercial buildings along with several trailer homes, that are similar to the TV show the OZARKS. Cabin at the Ozarks is nestled in the woods sitting in a quiet waterfront cove. The private road is a little bumpy and the driveway is steep but once you are on the property you will be amazed how it is hidden. The neighbors keep to themselves but will be there for you in a drop of a hat and we request you do the same. It is nestled in with million dollar homes, trailer homes and commercial properties. Some areas look very run down but please know the people at the Lake of the Ozarks will be right there to help but they want their privacy. We ask that when you are at the cabin, please stay on the property. Next door to us is a red trailer home, that is not our property. Please be respectful to all the properties surrounding the cabin. STEEP DRIVEWAY: The roads are not great, we installed fresh rock on the private road, Excalibur, but the road is still very bumpy. Please drive slow. We have seen every type of car handle the driveway, but please note, motorcycles CANNOT handle the steep or gravel driveway. If you are arriving late at night, please be cautious. It is dark at the cabin and when you aren't expecting the steep driveway, it will scare you. It is very intimidating when you initially turn onto our driveway, after that it is not as scary, but it is very, very intimidating at first. The driveway is very steep and motorcycles cannot handle it. The cabin is on a septic tank and well water. The toilet paper is for the septic tank, it is not Charmin. Please make sure to only flush toilet paper, there are bins in each bathroom for all other waste. This property features exterior surveillance cameras. These devices may be recording activity for your safety, but should not infringe on your privacy. We love get-togethers but do not allow parties or large gatherings. We are allowing guests to leave non-perishable food and drinks so feel free to use whatever you find in the cupboards and refrigerator. If we notice items are missing from the cabin, we will use your deposit to pay for the missing items.
