Come and enjoy serenity next to the Boquet River in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Relax in our quaint, simple, little cottage right on the river. Short drive to Whiteface and Lake Placid The space Our quaint little rustic ADK cottage built in the 1940’s. Very cozy cottage on 3 private acres. Approximately 400 feet of river frontage. 1 bedroom with a comfy memory foam queen bed and TV. Slider to the deck with table, chairs and bbq. Have a cup of coffee in bed while looking out of the sliding glass door onto the Boquet River. Smart tv’s in living room and bedroom with cable. Cozy inside porch overlooking the river. Full bathroom with stall shower. Deck overlooking the river to sit and have a glass of wine or hot cup of coffee. Fire ring, gas grill, outdoor chairs and hammock. Other things to note Although we accept 4 people, the cottage is not very suitable for 4 adults. 2 adults and 2 children is the most suitable. We don’t charge a cleaning fee, and don’t want to, so please be respectful and leave the cottage picked up and towels and linens in the basket. Being so close to the river, water conservancy is vital as our septic is very small. “If it’s yellow let it mellow, brown flush it down”. Also please note, there is a road across the river, with a couple houses that are obstructed by the trees. The road is not very busy. There is 1 camp at the beginning of the driveway but the owners are not there very often. It is a very quiet comfortable and private location. Up to 2 furry family members are allowed. There will be a cleaning/ replacement fee for any damage caused by your pet. There is a pooper scooper for your convenience. Relax, enjoy and Thank You for looking at our cottage.
