Desert Rose is a secluded waterfront cottage on the 5-acre Monticello Estate. It is perched directly over one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island, famous for the unbelievable pink sand and turquoise water. The large beach Tiki Hut and the deck are a unique​ opportunity to enjoy the paradise from really close. The cottage is ideal for 2-4 guests, but we can accommodate larger groups​ as well. We have the​ "Garden of Light" house that sets back in the garden which sleeps 6 more guests​. The space Desert Rose is a two-bedroom, one-bath cottage. The main bedroom has a king bed, and an additional room has a twin bunk bed. All rooms have separate ceiling fans and air conditioners. The living room has a big sofa, a Satellite TV, Starlink Wi-Fi, a DVD Player, and a stereo. The house has a separate laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Monticello Estate is a private property centrally located on the Atlantic side of Eleuthera, known as the Riviera of the Bahamas. We're only a few minutes from the main restaurants in the area. It is a lovely location, safe and tranquil. The pink beach is miles long, nearly always deserted, and offers different swimming places. You'll usually find no one but yourselves. Governor's Harbour is about 10 minutes/3.5 miles ( about 5 km) away. There, you'll find grocery stores, gasoline stations, banks, gift shops, dive shops, and more. The nearest airport is Governor's Harbour (GHB), just a short drive, 25-30 minutes away. North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) is 1 hr away, and Rock Sound Airport (RSD) is 45 minutes away. Guest access You will rent the entire house. Other things to note The house has a whole-house generator. Hotel Safe. Baby Travel bed available. Private Chef is optional. A babysitter is available.
