Marymount Hideaway in Ohio’s Amish country

Stay in an original farmhouse built in 1849, nestled in a valley in N. Central Ohio. The house is recently renovated with all modern conveniences. Great for bikers (of all kinds!) and is located 2 miles from the trail head for the Holmes County Trail. Snuggle in front of the fireplace in winter and sit back with a cool drink on the back porch in summer. Take long walks in the woods on the 160 acre property any time! Located close to Amish country, and local wineries. Check @marymount_hideaway The space The house has a fully functioning kitchen with most everything you need to cook and bake. There is one bathroom. It is about a 20 minute drive to Walmart and other full service grocery stores. You want to bring food and drink with you for your stay. There are closer gas stations with basics if needed. Essentials like soap, toilet paper, etc. are provided. Wifi is provided, and there is a land line in case of emergencies. A smartTV has most streaming apps- just bring your own ID and password to access. Most cell phone providers have limited signal in this area (could be considered a positive thing!) but if you have wireless text and calling service you will be able to use your cell phones. There is a land line available if cell and Wi-Fi doesn’t work in case of emergencies. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house. There are combination locks on the doors. Therefore there will be the usual outdoor nuisances: mosquitoes, flies, ticks, spiders, etc. Come anyway - they are few and far between encounters and part of the nature experience!!!
