AN ANTI-COVID 19 SPRAY IS INCLUDED IN THE PRE ARRIVAL CLEANING The space Le Chalet is located in Higashiyama, on an elevated-flat-site, bordering a forest area, immersing you in Niseko’s blooming nature. 10 minutes outside of Hirafu, our chalet is in an ideal location, close enough to the city center and main ski lifts to enjoy the restaurants and activities, but distant enough to avoid the noise and hustle. You can find the famous Milk Kobo, Prativo restaurant (pizza) 2 minutes down the road by foot, and you can get to the closest ski lift, Green Leaf in 2 minutes by car. The Niseko Village/Hilton is a 3 minutes drive from the house, another ski lift option, or golf course and activity center in summer! We are also 5 minutes from different Onsen. If you have children, you can choose from the different ski schools available nearby (GoSnow, Niseko United, Niseko International Snowsports...). The main airport is the Chitose airport in Sapporo, two hours away from the house. We can help you organize your transports to get to the house. We’ve prepared a thorough guide to the surrounding activities and restaurants found around our chalet for you to enjoy during your stay, winter and summer alike! Guest access As guests, you have access to all the rooms, however, please note that, according to Japanese law and for safety reasons, you are not allowed to use the fireplace. We will lock it prior to your arrival. We also have personal storage rooms which are locked and you will not be given access to. Thank you for your understanding. Other things to note Hello and welcome to our Family Chalet! Before your arrival, we will create a chat group with you so we can easily assist you during your stay. Could you please send us your personal email address? This also allows us to stay in direct contact in the future — so if you ever wish to return, you can contact us directly. We already have a complete Guide Book on Airbnb with all the important information (restaurants, transportation, activities, grocery delivery, etc.). We will share the link to this Guide Book once the group is created. There is also a printed information booklet inside the house for reference during your stay. Ganesh & Satori are the couple who look after the chalet. Your main contact during your stay will be: His Info Will be in our provided booklet. He will be available to help with: • Taxi and airport transfers • Restaurant recommendations and bookings • General questions & house assistance • Daiko driver service (a driver can return your car if you drink — drinking & driving is strictly prohibited in Japan). The Daiko service can sometimes be busy, so it is often better to ask Ganesh to book it for you in advance. Just mention you are staying at our chalet. If you travel by bus, you will likely arrive at Hilton Niseko. Please note there is no shuttle from Hilton to the chalet — we can help arrange a taxi if needed. Check-in & Entrance Code We will send you the access code and arrival instructions 2 weeks before your stay. If Ganesh needs to come for on-site assistance, the service fee is 2,500 JPY per hour. Extra cleaning during your stay is available on request. ⸻ Garbage Japan has strict waste sorting rules. Please use the different bins in the kitchen. When full, place the bags in the outside bin in the garage. If you prefer us to handle garbage pick-up during your stay, we can arrange it (2,500 JPY per collection). ⸻ We look forward to welcoming you and hope you will have a wonderful stay in our chalet. Please note, all foreign drivers in Japan need to have their home-country license on them while driving, as well as an international driver's license issued by a signatory to the 1949 Geneva Convention. Without these, it is illegal to drive. If you are more than 8 people, we propose that you rent another small car. Car delivery only at home.
