Ephraim Chalet - Large Yard & Family Friendly

Cozy getaway tucked into the woods yet close to the village center & many Door County activities! New teak floors throughout, wood burning fireplace, Roku & cable TV, family games and a large yard with a firepit & grill. Enjoy morning coffee or evenings cocktails on one of the 2 decks and you may see deer or other wildlife wandering through the yard. 2 lounge areas, dining for 8 plus two counter stools. DCTZP #1156291200 The space The main level is elevated and the 3 bedrooms are on the upper floor so the ability to climb stairs is a must.  These photos were taken in April 2023, so the trees and expansive yard should be greening up soon! This is a perfect vacation getaway for a family and children!  The Chalet has 2 lounge areas including the living room with a Door County fieldstone fireplace and a great view of the yard as well as the den where you can curl up in front of the Roku TV in case of inclement weather.   The light filled master bedroom opens onto a private deck and has a king bed (as well as room for a portable crib if traveling with a little one).  Please note, there are blinds on the lower windows and sliding door, (not yet pictured) but no window coverings on the upper small windows. The second cozy bedroom has a queen bed and dresser. The third bedroom can sleep 6 children, 3 adults or a combination. This bedroom has a full over full bunk bed and a third full bed low to the ground.  The third low full bed is close to a slanted wall so would not be suitable for 2 adults.  (Also, per Wisconsin statute, the number of people in a room is limited by the cubic footage of the room.  This third bedroom has about 1200 cubic feet of air.  Adults are required to have 400 cubic feet per person and children 200 cubic feet. Please take this into consideration when determining how many people can stay in this room...for example, 6 children or 3 adults or 2 adult and 2 children or 1 adult and 4 children).   There is a full bath with a combined shower and tub on the upper level and a half bath on the main level off of the kitchen.  The retro kitchen is fully equipped and there is even a popcorn maker!   Guest access Because the basement and garage are unfinished, these areas are reserved for the owner's use only (unless a guest has to access the electrical panel). The guest has full access to the large yard, woods and the rest of the Chalet. Other things to note Unfortunately, due to the new hardwood floors, we are strict on our no pet policy. We would also appreciate it if guests removed their shoes upon entering the chalet.  This is a no smoking property. Thank you for your understanding. 2023 is our first season!
