Beautiful secluded log cabin surrounded by a gorgeous forest view. The 3500 square foot log cabin comfortably sleeps 16 people with 6 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms! The cabin is located less than a mile from Berlin Lake with all the amenities a family or large group would want in a vacation property. Berlin Lake is less than a mile away, great for kayaking or fishing. Enjoy the outdoors on the 3 porches, play games on the lawn, or relax in the evening around the fire pit in our biergarten. Other things to note A few items about our family retreat. - The cabin uses well water. It has been tested safe for everything; drinking, cooking, washing, and bathing. There is a common sulfur/egg smell. I would consider it slight. Others are more sensitive. No iron stains. There is a whole house water conditioner so the water is quite 'soft'. We do have a reverse osmosis filter on a water tap at the sink and the refrigerator water/ice. - There will be mosquitos in the summertime. We'll have spray here, and we'll treat the Biergarten a few times each year. - The nearby reservoir is slowly drained, starting after Labor Day. The water level is low through winter and fills up again in spring.
