The space A second-floor unit, Starry Nights, has a king bed and up to three single beds. Starry Nights is the perfect family condo, or great for a couple wanting a lot more space. You are steps from the dive shop, and your porch has a full view of the Caribbean Sea. Relax in the hammock with your favorite libation. A full kitchen helps on the budget! A custom tile bath with shower, air conditioning throughout, and LCD TV round out all the custom touches to this great place to stay. No matter your level of experience, you will be in good hands. Experience one of the most majestic reef systems in the world by day or by night. Roatan scuba diving is unmatched. Like to snorkel? Then bring your gear or save the space and rent it from our onsite dive center. Snorkeling from our front door does not get much better anywhere on the island. Giant starfish, eels, rays, octopus, and a variety of tropical fish will delight you every swim. If you are lucky, you may even see a seahorse or turtle while snorkeling in Roatan! Fishing enthusiast? Roatan offers some of the best fishing in the world. Blue Bahia can connect you with some of the best anglers on the island. Try your hand at flats fishing, deep water, or go for the gusto, trolling for mahi, marlin, wahoo, and more. Go nose to nose with a Dolphin. Just beyond Spa Baan Suerte is the Roatan Marine Research Center at Anthony's Key Resort, where you can swim with the dolphins and feel good about doing it! The dolphin program is research-based; these are not dolphins being trained for circus activities. You will not only swim with dolphins, but you will learn about their behavior, habitat, and what is being done to increase our understanding of, and how we can better protect these majestic animals. Hike to the top of the mountain nearby. Carambola Gardens is another of our Sandy Bay gems! The 100% natural 30 acres of the Carambola Botanical Gardens and their many jungle trails offer a perfect place for hiking, wildlife and scenic photography, eco tours, professor/student tours, bird watching, nature studies, and of course, relaxation. So, "take a walk on the wild side" and watch the playful Monkey La La scurry along jungle trails as you enjoy flowering plants, orchids, medicinal plants, exotic spices, fruit and nut trees, including the very popular "Chocolate Tree" and the world-famous Honduran mahogany tree. Take a sunset cruise. Several charter companies offer sunset cruises on Roatan. Take an island tour from the water, book the boat for a day or half-day, and enjoy Roatan from the water. This is a protected area of the sea. This means we do have turtle grass along our beaches, so you may notice grass as you walk out to go explore. Turtle grass is protected on this side of the island to help preserve the ecosystem. You will notice a lot of great sea life, though, because of it. We offer paddleboards and kayaks for our resort guests, which allows them to go out and explore the reef and other surrounding areas.
