Welcome to The Cape, located directly on Cayuga Lake! This stunning vacation home boasts breathtaking views and features amenities that will make you feel right at home. Whether you're enjoying the cozy indoors or soaking up the sun on shore, you'll feel completely immersed in the natural beauty of your surroundings. With accommodations for up to 6 guests, this is the perfect getaway for families or groups seeking a peaceful retreat. Come experience the ultimate lakefront trip! The space The house features 2 bedrooms and includes 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. The living & dining room features a front row seat to Cayuga Lake! From the main living area, you can access the deck which will bring you right down to the waterfront. Right off the water is a screened in patio & dining area for you to enjoy meals & games with your group. This lake house is equipped with AC & heat, and is prime to enjoy year-round. The bathroom features a tub shower & is filled with any toiletries & amenities you may need during your stay. The kitchen is also fully stocked to cook delicious meals. Enjoy a cup of coffee from our fully stocked coffee bar each morning. Snack on some popcorn from our popcorn maker for a movie night or sitting around the campfire! We provide 2-single person kayaks for your use. Enter the water via the built in stairway for easy access or feel free to cast a fishing pole off our dock. A firepit is located on the waters edge for you to enjoy nightly campfires. We provide the first bundle of firewood for you! We have adequate parking for up to 5 vehicles. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property. Other things to note 📌 Things to Keep in Mind: This is a cape style home, meaning the second floor does have sloped ceilings. Both queen beds are on low profile bed frames to give you the maximum headroom as you get in & out of bed. We encourage guests to watch their heads! 🚣‍♂️ Water Adventures Made Easy We’ve got you covered for lake fun! During your stay, feel free to use our kayaks—they’re ready and waiting by the water. Life jackets are provided, but if you’re traveling with little ones, we recommend bringing child-sized safety gear tailored to their size for peace of mind. 🧭 Boating Note: If you plan to bring a boat, jet ski, or other watercraft, please reach out in advance. While we don't currently offer a dock or boat slip, we're happy to help you with nearby options or guidance. 🌊 Swimming & Lake Conditions We want you to enjoy the lake as much as possible! However, please know that swimming may be limited at times due to naturally occurring algae blooms. We keep an eye on water conditions and will always let you know if anything changes during your stay. The lakeshore is rocky, and turns to sand as you enter the water- lake shoes are recommended. 🐞 Nature & The Outdoors We professionally treat the property to help keep pests at bay, but you may still see the occasional gnat, mosquito, or tiny bug—part of the charm of lakeside living. Bug spray is a great idea, especially in the evenings. 🔥 Lakeside Fire Pit There’s nothing like winding down your day with a cozy fire by the lake. We’ll have your first night’s supply of firewood ready when you arrive, and more is available upon request for a small fee. Don’t forget the s’mores! 🗓️ Weekly Services Lawn care takes place on Thursdays during the spring and summer. Trash is collected every Monday morning.
