The Biltmore (Room #6) is a suite on the walk-out lower level of the historic Holladay House in downtown Orange, Virginia. Guests in the Biltmore will enjoy: * Living in the circa 1910's portion of the house * Use of the recently redecorated common parlor, study, and dining room areas * A combination of historic decor and modern convenience * Free off-street parking * Walking distance to all sights in Orange, short driving distance to Montpelier, Monticello, Highland, wineries, and more! The space Staying at the Holladay House is taking a step into American history. One previous owner was a grand-nephew of President James Madison, and his daughter's wedding reception in the house counted J.E.B. Stuart among its guests. There are five other guest bedrooms in the Holladay House: three others on the second floor and two on the walk-out basement floor. The Biltmore Suite is the most private guest room in the house, and the most insulated from outside sounds. Your hosts live in a suite on the first floor, where also are found the common-area parlor, study, and dining room. During your stay We live in the house and are normally in/near Orange during guest stays. To find us, call/message, holler', or knock on our suite door.
