The space The Salt Box is a beautifully restored two-story home that blends historic charm with modern comforts. It's fully private, with your own front and back doors, and outdoor spaces to unwind. On your side of the front porch, you’ll find rocking chairs perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or evening sunset. The back deck features a gas grill for a relaxing BBQ in your private yard. Downstairs: Step inside to original hardwood floors and a spacious, open layout. The dining room at the front of the house leads to the cozy den, where you can kick back and stream your favorite shows on the smart TV (Netflix, Hulu Live, Amazon Prime, and more). The kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and dine in—complete with utensils, pots/pans, dishes, and even a bar area with glasses for your favorite cocktails. There’s also a laundry room and a convenient bathroom with a separate shower area, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Upstairs: The second floor features a peaceful and restful retreat with three bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom has a plush California king bed, outfitted with a 14" memory foam mattress for ultimate comfort. The middle bedroom has a comfy queen bed, and the back bedroom is perfect for kids with two single beds. All bedrooms have blackout curtains, so you can sleep soundly after a day of adventure. The recently renovated upstairs bathroom boasts shiplap walls, marble tiles, and a luxurious shower. With Cape Charles' quiet evenings, you’re sure to wake up refreshed and ready to enjoy the day. Both floors are equipped with separate HVAC zones, ensuring a comfortable temperature no matter where you are in the house.
