The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the open and covered terrace ends up being the most used room. COMMON AREAS On the staircase landing, you're likely to come across other travelers like you who are staying in the apartment across from your door. You may also meet the owner of the property or me or other family members when they are cleaning the common areas or with the tenant who lives on the first floor. Other things to note Our main motivation is for you to enjoy our home. Here are a few things we think you'll want to know. AIR CONDITIONING In the bedroom, there is air conditioning with adjustable functions from your remote control TV You can watch TV by antenna, satellite or switch to HDMI and use the Xiaomi TV stick to connect to your account from a streaming platform such as Netflix or Amazon Prime. (Don't forget to log out and delete your data before leaving). You can also use the Chromecast feature to view content from your mobile device on the TV. KITCHEN We have kitchen utensils and equipment such as a kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, coffee maker, microwave, and oven. We'll leave you some coffee and sugar, tea, salt, pepper, and oil, and a welcome bottle of water. TRASH This apartment has two trash containers, they are labeled separately as Trash and Plastic. There is also a recycling bag for glass. If you fill the cans during your stay, simply remove the bags and place them in the containers located down the seafront avenue next to the bus stop. You'll find replacement bags under the sink. LAUNDRY Use the washing machine by following the instructions we've placed next to it. Detergent capsules are available. ACCESSORIES In the laundry room there is an iron and ironing board. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom closet, as well as shampoo and bath gel in the shower. TRAVELER REGISTRATION We must comply with the regulations on logbooks and traveler entry reports. As you know, Spain has rules that require hotels and other accommodation providers to ensure that their guests' information is registered and shared with law enforcement authorities. We will ask you for your ID/passport and fill out a form with the required information. RECOMMENDATIONS AND TIPS • Our local beaches can be quite rocky and the black sand can burn quite a bit, so we recommend that you buy or pack some water shoes to better enjoy them. • Drinking tap water on the island is not recommended. We advise you to use bottled water for drinking. • This island is quite safe, but we still recommend that you be careful with the most touristy places (for example, Teide and Masca). Do not leave any valuables inside the car if you stop to take a photo and be aware of pickpockets.
