A penthouse with a private terrace, just a 3-minute walk from the beach. Enjoy Puerto de Santiago with seafront walks, restaurants and shops close by, with Playa de la Arena and Los Gigantes also within easy reach. Simple, well cared for and functional, it features an air-conditioned bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, washing machine and thoughtful little details designed to make you feel at home, whether you’re staying for a short break or a little longer. The space The private terrace The terrace is one of the standout spaces of the penthouse and one of the areas our guests enjoy most. For your exclusive use throughout your stay, it has a table and four chairs for breakfast or outdoor dining, reading or relaxing at the end of the day. Thanks to its orientation, it gets plenty of afternoon sun and, in the evening, there is often a pleasant sea breeze. The penthouse Located on the top floor of a small building with just three apartments, the apartment is simple, well cared for and functional, with everything you need for both a short break and a longer stay. Rest The bedroom is located at the rear of the apartment, away from the street. It has a 135 × 200 cm double bed with a firm mattress and cotton bed linen, Smart Inverter air conditioning, a pedestal fan, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a blackout blind. Cook like at home The kitchen is fully equipped for comfortable cooking: oven, microwave, air fryer, coffee machine compatible with ground coffee and Nespresso capsules, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker and all the necessary cookware and utensils. On arrival, you’ll find a bottle of chilled water and a few complimentary coffee capsules. The table can be used both for dining and as a workspace if you need to combine holidays with remote work. The Wi-Fi connection reaches around 300 Mbps. Relax The living room has a comfortable sofa, Android TV with Chromecast so you can access your own streaming platforms, and a ceiling fan with dimmable lighting. Bathroom The bathroom features a spacious shower, LED-lit mirror, hairdryer, storage space and dispensers with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For longer stays In the laundry room, you’ll find your own washing machine, a few complimentary detergent capsules, a drying rack, iron and first-aid kit. You’ll also have beach towels, a beach umbrella and other small details designed to make your stay more comfortable Guest access During your stay, you’ll have the entire penthouse to yourself and your companion. Each apartment also has its own independent Wi-Fi connection. The building is small and quiet, with only three apartments. Yours and the other holiday apartment are located on the second floor, while a neighbour lives on the first floor. The only shared areas are the entrance hall, staircase and landing leading to the apartments, so you may occasionally cross paths with other guests or neighbours when coming or going. Other things to note To help you decide whether the penthouse and the area are a good fit for you, here are a few practical details worth knowing before you book. The penthouse Access The apartment is located on the second and top floor of a building without a lift, so you will need to climb two flights of stairs. For this reason, the accommodation is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility or difficulty using stairs. Bedroom The double bed measures 135 × 200 cm and has a firm mattress. The bedroom is located at the rear of the apartment, away from the street. Its window, fitted with a mosquito screen, opens onto the building’s internal staircase, which is lit and ventilated from above by a skylight in the roof. The sofa in the living room is designed for relaxing and does not convert into a bed, so the accommodation has one double bed only. Climate control The Smart Inverter air conditioning is only in the bedroom. In the living room, you’ll find a ceiling fan with six speeds and dimmable lighting, and there is also a pedestal fan in the bedroom. Peace and quiet The accommodation is part of a small residential building, and a neighbour lives on the first floor. We kindly ask you to respect the peaceful atmosphere of the building and keep noise at a reasonable level, especially between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am. Guest registration Spanish law requires us to register all guests. On arrival, we will only need a valid ID card or passport to complete this simple procedure. The area Parking Parking is not available on the street where the accommodation is located. It is usually possible to find parking along the seafront avenue and in the surrounding streets, although depending on the time and occupancy, you may need to leave the car around 5–10 minutes’ walk away. There is also a paid parking option a few minutes away on foot. You don’t need a car to enjoy Puerto de Santiago and the nearby coast; if you want to explore places such as Teide, Masca or the north of the island, having one will give you more freedom. Local events Puerto de Santiago is a lively town. Throughout the year, local festivities, processions, concerts and other events organised by the municipality may take place. These are occasional events, but on certain dates there may be a little more activity or music can be heard from the nearby public square. The Atlantic The coast is one of the great reasons to enjoy this part of Tenerife, but the ocean deserves respect. Before swimming, check the sea conditions, respect the flags and lifeguards’ instructions, and take extra care around natural pools and rocky areas when there is swell. Some beaches and natural pools have rocky areas or pebbles, so water shoes can make swimming more comfortable. You can bring a pair with you or easily buy some after you arrive.
