Welcome to Hüppa House, a charming and well-appointed log cabin escape. A quick and scenic 1-hour drive from downtown Boise to this oasis among the pines, recently upgraded with modern amenities such as smart devices, high-end furniture, luxury linens, detailed design touches, and a newly upgraded bathroom and kitchen. Within a short 10m driving distance, you can indulge in golfing, river floating, world-class rafting, hiking, ATV-ing, mountain biking, and soaking in some iconic hot springs!" The space We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you to Hüppa House! A charming retreat in the woods that is perfectly suited for those looking to enjoy nature and solitude in a modern, yet rustic log cabin. It may be small but we are confident that you will find everything you need to enjoy your stay to the fullest! (If not, please let us know!) There is one bedroom downstairs with a king-sized Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress with a 3” Puffy Mattress Topper on top. It’s so cozy, you’re going to have a hard time getting out of bed! The loft, which is up one flight of wood stairs, has the exact same setup and each bed has a variety of pillow types so you can find one that works best. In addition, the bedside lamps are touch-controlled and dimmable, complete with wireless phone charging surfaces and a USB port. The living room comfortably seats 4 adults on a large distressed vegan leather sofa from Albany Park and an extra plush velvet reading chair complete with an Icelandic Sheepskin throw. There is a 55” flatscreen Roku TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. Looking to avoid screens altogether? We’ve provided a deck of cards, Uno, Taboo and Bunco for your playing pleasure. And during the winter, you might want to take advantage of the new pellet stove for some extra cozy heat! If you’re feeling like a homebody, enjoy the fully stocked kitchen. There’s a blender, mixer, baking sheets, cutting boards, ice cream scoop, toaster, you name it! And be sure to use the Moscow Mule mugs to enjoy a fun drink on the porch. Lastly, don’t worry about the clean-up because there’s a cute little dishwasher ready to help with that! The bathroom is small but mighty! There’s a spacious, tiled walk-in shower complete with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. (If you look closely there’s a preserved fossil in one of the pebbles on the shower floor.) Plush bath towels and wash clothes are provided and there are also hooks on the backside of the door to hang things up to dry - just don’t forget them! Lastly, the outdoor spaces are truly worth enjoying… Take advantage of the propane grill located on the covered porch with serene tree views. There are also four Adirondack chairs to take in a sunrise and listen to the birds. We’ve provided two yoga mats (located inside) for your convenience and the porch is a great spot to get some flows in. Guest access We recommend you use the following coordinates to navigate there, as the address can sometimes land you in the wrong place: 44°10'42.8"N 115°58'18.9"W There is a steep, shared driveway down to the cabin that should only be used when there is not snow on the ground. If it's clear, there is space for two cars. If there is snow/ice you will need to park up on the road and (carefully) walk down. To access the cabin upon arrival, please us the August smart lock which will be provided a few days prior to check-in. All areas of the cabin are accessible to guests aside from the locked cabinet space in the downstairs bedroom. Other things to note We ask our guests to please drive slowly up to the house (15mph). Also, make sure to watch for deer especially during dawn and dusk! Hüppa House is 12 minutes (5.5 miles) from Crouch where you will find a grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, mercantile, and outdoor live theatre. You're also only 10 minutes away from Terrace Lakes Resort where you can golf and soak in their geothermal heated pool. Around town there is access to world class fishing, rafting, hiking, and mountain biking. We take our cleaning very seriously, so we want to mention we have a $95 cleaning fee charged at the time of booking. *Please note: we have satellite internet; this is not your normal high-speed wifi you might be used to. We do not guarantee the internet will work during your stay. Video streaming and video calls may or may not work as well.
