The apartment is accessed via a charming external staircase and opens into a bright first-floor hallway. On the right, you’ll find two twin bedrooms: one with a retractable bed, desk, and wardrobe — ideal for kids or remote work — and the other with two single beds and a wardrobe. Both rooms feature plush mattresses, quality linens, blackout shutters, air conditioning, and full-height French doors that open onto a shaded balcony with comfortable seating — perfect for a quiet morning coffee. A modern shared bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC is conveniently located between the twin rooms. To the left of the hall, the serene master suite includes a luxurious king-size bed, a fitted wardrobe, large windows, and an elegant en-suite bathroom with shower. An internal staircase leads to the second floor — a bright open-concept space featuring a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine. The adjoining dining and living area includes a large LED TV with 100+ channels, a Marshall sound system for streaming your music, high-speed WiFi, and air conditioning throughout. The living room opens onto a second terrace, perfect for al fresco dining. Guest access This spacious, fully self-contained apartment offers around 100m² of comfort and privacy. Aside from a few locked cupboards used to store personal items, the entire space is exclusively yours to enjoy throughout your stay. Other things to note Starting November 1st, 2024, the municipality of Loulé - which includes Old Village Vilamoura - applies a Tourist Tax on all short-term stays. This tax applies to all guests aged 16 and over, regardless of nationality, for the first 5 nights of the reservation. • April 1 – October 31: €2 per person, per night • November 1 – March 31: €1 per person, per night Since we operate with a self-check-in system, the total Tourist Tax must be paid prior to arrival. We will request payment via Airbnb’s Resolution Center. Accessibility Notice Please note that the apartment is accessed by stairs and spans three levels, including the rooftop terrace. While this layout adds to the charm and views, it may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations. For families with young children, stair gates are installed for added safety. Pool Sun Lounger Policy The Old Village condominium charges a small fee for poolside sun loungers: €2 per bed per half-day. This system is in place to prevent long-term reservation of loungers and ensure fair access for all guests. Seasonal Notes During the winter months, some restaurants and bars within the Old Village may close temporarily. However, the on-site supermarket remains open year-round, and most establishments at the Vilamoura Marina stay open regardless of season. Please also be aware that maintenance and construction work within Old Village is only permitted between November and March, which may lead to occasional daytime noise during this generally quieter period.
