Swanpool country stay at Serendipity House.

Enjoy a country stay at Serendipity House in Swanpool. Situated mid way between Benalla and Mansfield on the Midland Highway. Older style country home. Room for a large family or groups of friends - up to 18 people. ( Please message if groups are larger than 16, as extra payment required.) Come and explore the region or just sit back and enjoy the country surrounds. The space We love our country home, Serendipity House. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful country surrounds. We are so happy to share our modest, older style home with you. Serendipity House is situated on 2 acres and sleeps 16+ guests. Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are Queen bedrooms, The 4th room has a queen bed and 2 single beds. The 5th is a large room with 1 queen bed, 1 double bed, a double sofa bed and a single sofa bed. Our lounge area also has a Sofabed. We have 2 bathrooms and 2 Toilets. One modern styled, with shower, vanity, tastic heater and toilet. The second bathroom is an older style, with bath, shower and vanity. There is a seperate toilet off the laundry. We provide all bed linen and towels. In the laundry space we have provided a Bosch front load washer. There is a dryer in the first bathroom and (for the latest technology - solar and wind power) a Hills Hoist outside. There is a seperate toilet off the laundry area. The living area provides a dining table with seating for 8/10. The lounge area provides 2arm chairs and 2 seater sofa and sofa bed. There is a split system for heating and cooling and a TV, DVD and Apple Box. (The wood heater is non functioning.) There is also, gas ducted heating and cooling for your comfort, year round. The older style, rustic kitchen has electric cooking, with hot plates and elevated oven. The original old wood stove remains in place, only as a feature and is non functioning. There is a dishwasher, microwave and a small table and 4 chairs. We provide cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, a kettle, teapot and coffee pod machine with some basic pantry items (tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper). Just outside the kitchen is a large LG, fridge freezer, with icemaker and cold water. Sit back in the Sunroom, a cosy nook to read or rest. Enjoy the backyard area with country views, decking, Barbeque and ample seating for large groups. Our front veranda also has seating. Sit back, relax and unwind. For those who like a bike ride, we have bikes to use at your leisure and at your own risk. Perhaps a short ride into Swanpool, along the Gregorian track? Guest access Guests have full access to the house, allocated bedrooms (depending on group size) and outside area. No access to sheds. There is a pool which is under renovation and is strictly out off limits. it is fully fenced and locked. No jumping fences or opening gates into surrounding property, this is Private Property. There are CAMERAS on the property, located at the exterior front and back of the house. CAMERAS ensure the security of the property and allow for monitoring arrival and departure of guests. CAMERAS also ensure correct numbers of guests. Any extra guests arriving on the property, will be charged via original invoice per night. Other things to note No smoking inside. No parties or events.
