Lyrebird Cottages Silver Wattle Cottage Check-in from 3pm Check-out by 12 noon Architect-designed cottage with views over the Yarra Valley. A natural retreat in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Silver Wattle cottage is set in gardens where wombats, wallabies and lyrebirds are frequent visitors. Walk through forest or dine in on the cottage deck with a sunset. Wood fire, double spa bath, separate bedroom and living room and full kitchen. Healesville cafes, shops and wineries are 15 minutes away. The space Two cottages on 10 acres of garden and forest. Each cottage has a great view. The cottages are private and separate and surrounded by private gardens. Silver Wattle cottage is fully self contained, suitable for both short breaks or longer stays. The cottage is architect designed to let in the maximum light and to be warm and cosy. There is a large attached deck which overlooks the garden with seating and a BBQ. There is a separate bedroom and QS bed. A single bed is put in for a third person. There is a $20 charge per stay when two guests wish to sleep separately and require an extra bed. The single bed is put in the living area where there is plenty of room and it does not have to be put away during the day. Fine recycled timber is used for the benchtops, and mudbrick internal walls add warmth and a traditional feel in a modern design. Accommodation includes provisions for a cooked breakfast for the first morning. Please let us know if you are vegetarian or gluten free. All linen and towels are provided. Towels are changed after the third night and the cottage is serviced once a week for stays of 6 days or more. A laundry with washing machine and dryer is available. Meals can be ordered from us until 6pm or pre-ordered. Brought to your cottage they are in individual casserole dishes for you to heat when ready. A menu is in the cottage and can be provided at request. Guest access Silver Wattle cottage is wholly separate and has gardens all around. You are free to walk through the garden and there is a track through seven acres of forest on the property. It is a lovely fifteen minute walk through a native forest of tall Mountain Ash trees, Grey gums, Stringybark and tree ferns. Off-street parking is next to the cottages. The cottages have private access from the street. Other things to note Smoking is not permitted. Our gardens are home to many native animals and birds so pets are not allowed. Where your use of the property results in damage requiring replacement, repair or unscheduled maintenance you will be liable for costs incurred. Charges may be made to your credit account.
