Lake Lanier is an absolutely gorgeous place to visit and offers so many different activities. You can rent a boat at one of numerous marinas nearby for a nice cruise or water skiing adventure. Margaritaville on Lanier Islands offers a waterpark with waterslides, marina and restaurants which turns into a winter snow park when the seasons change. You can also just sit on the dock enjoying the sunset. Flowery Branch offers highly rated restaurants on the water and a must see is the Liberty Candy Company for a sweet treat. Buford, a short drive away, has an adorable Main Street with shops and amazing dining as well. For a little adventure, you can visit the mountain towns of Helen and Dahlonega which offer year-round activities. During the Fall, there’s an abundance of apple picking and pumpkin patches nearby and during Christmas, well, it’s something straight from a Hallmark movie. You will need your own transportation. We are located directly on Lake Lanier. There are two boat ramps located less than 5 minutes away.
