Choose your season, choose your experience! Imagine arriving minutes from Jay Peak and instantly unwinding in our spacious 6-bedroom Swiss chalet, your cozy home base no matter the season. In the spring & summer step out the back door and discover breathtaking hiking trails, challenge yourself on Jay Peak's renowned golf course, or effortlessly celebrate with your wedding guests and friends at nearby Crofter's Green. Your home away from home, where there is something for every adventure! The space Entering through the mudroom on the lower level, there is plenty of space to offload your adventures for the day. This room is a great room to store your skis, snow shoes, hiking boots, or muddy MTB shoes. On this lower level, you pass into the living area with gas fireplace, secondary dining/gathering table, and a small kitchenette with minifridge. A great spot to spread out the family or friends. Also on this level are two bedrooms: one with three twins and another with a queen bed. To round out the space, there is a full bath. Going upstairs to the main living area is a wonderful and cozy wood burning fireplace with comfy a large couch and two oversized chairs to sit back after a long day on the slopes to reminisce. The main cooking area is located on this level with an accompanying large dinner table to feed everyone. Two more bedrooms, one queen bed and two twins, along with a full bathroom complete the main living area. When the time comes to grab some well deserved rest, the third floor of this chalet offers two more bedrooms and another full sized bathroom. The king bed is located on this level alongside the final bedroom, which contains the three remaining twin beds. Our home is the perfect spot for larger groups wanting to stay together when attending weddings at Crofter's Green. Or a nice secluded spot for couples and families that want a little more space! Quiet, peaceful, serene with access to the best glades skiing on the east coast! Staying at the Jay Chalet will not disappoint. Guest access The entire chalet is your home away from home. In the community of Alpine Haven, enjoy access and amenities to an eight-acre park, including scenic mountain views, nature hiking trails and after Memorial Day, enjoy the summer pool, disc golf, sand volleyball, and more. Other things to note - We do have Starlink internet, so working away from home is a breeze. Speeds vary, but can easily keep up with any video conferencing you may need or Netflix show - There are three external cameras on site. One at the lower main exterior entrance, one on the exterior west facing, and one on the exterior east facing. There are no cameras inside our home. - Like most Chalets in Alpine Haven (and most homes in the great northern Vermont), we do not have central AC. It does get cool at night and, along with the plethora of fans throughout the home, it cools off perfectly for sweet dreams. Our Location is a Year-Round Adventure Hub! Our property community shares space with over 6 miles of private roads, a pool, tennis court, volleyball court (Open May-September) as well as a large common area for its residents and guests to enjoy. Plus, there are several miles of marked snow shoe and cross country trails which are also used in the summer for hiking. In addition to Disc Golf, which features 12-hole beginner-friendly course. Your four-season escape starts here! Winter: Conquer legendary slopes at nearby Jay Peak (Powder King!), explore endless snowmobile trails, discover backcountry skiing gems, and glide through scenic cross-country trails. Summer: Hike and rock climb breathtaking Hazen's Notch, explore the vast beauty of Lake Memphremagog for boating and fishing, and enjoy vibrant summer festivals. Hit the award-winning Jay Peak Championship Golf Course or explore countless off-road trails. Spring & Fall: Discover prime hunting opportunities and immerse yourself in Vermont's stunning foliage.
