A charming cluster of 5 houses surrounding a quiet courtyard. The houses were built more than 100 years ago and have been recently renovated into vacation homes. The number of houses you will stay in depends on the size of your group. Please read the details below in the "Space" section. These houses are fully furnished, and all necessary appliances are provided. You can easily walk to famous attractions and the subway station. The house will be a wonderful base from which to explore the city. The space Please note that you will stay at one house when the number of guests is less than a capacity of each house. Your group will use more than 2 houses when the number of guests exceeds the capacity of each house. The capacity of each house: Hana (花) 8 people, Tsuki (月) 5 people, Kaze (風) 8 people, Sora (空) 9 people. There are 5 small houses adjacent to each other surrounding a courtyard in a very traditional area. The houses are named Hana (花), Tsuki (月) , Kaze (風) and Sora (空). All houses have bedrooms, private kitchen, utilities and home appliances. Hana (花) is a two story high house, about 80 m2, have two bedrooms upstairs. There is one double bed, one convertible single bed, and a tatami floor for 4 futon sets. Tsuki (月) is a 75 m2 two-story house, have two bedrooms upstairs. There is one double bed in a bedroom, and a tatami bedroom for 4 futon sets. Kaze (風) is a single story house, 60 m2, have two bedrooms. There is 1 double bed, 3 single beds, 1 extra bed and a tatami floor for 2 futon sets. Sora (空) is a two-story house that have 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. There are total 2 double beds and 5 single beds. There is a big table in the spacious living room. Utilities and Appliances All 5 houses have a kitchen. Cutting knifes, pots and pans, plates, bowels and cutlery. There are also microwave, toaster and hot water kettle. Each house has bathroom with bathtub and separated toilet. Washing/drying machines are installed in all houses. Towels and detergent will be provided. Guest access It takes about 20-30 minutes to the house from Kyoto station by both, subway or taxi. The nearest subway station is Higashiyama station (東山駅). It is a 5-minute walk from the house. The nearest bus stop is called Jingu-michi (神宮道) which is a 3 minute walk from the house. Other things to note We prepare seasonings and rice cooker on a request from the guests. Please inform us in advance if you need seasonings such as oil, salt, pepper and a rice cooker.
