Looking for a peaceful getaway? Pat’s Place offers a private home located on beautiful Lake Gaston's Smith Creek. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the deck overlooking the water, roasting marshmallows or hike down to the lakeside point for an evening on the paddle boat or kayaks. There is no dock but plenty of places to fish from the bank. The space Bedrooms offer a variety of mattress firmness. The home is in a very rural area. You will want to be sure to bring groceries with you. The nearest town is 15-20 minutes away. Bring your boat to access the main lake by public boat ramp 2 miles away (hawtree boat ramp) we do not have a dock at the house. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and surrounding yard. There is a pull through drive and covered parking with outlets to charge boat batteries for the anglers. Other things to note Our only internet option is local broadband. It works fine for streaming on a few devices However, if many are connected it does become slow. We do offer a queen air mattress located in Master Bath Closet that can be used if needed.
