Historic Ice House Studio on Pewaukee Lake

Step back into time when you step into this historic ice house. What is an ice house? Great questions. Miller and Pabst use this house to store their ice to make their beer a long time ago. They would cut ice out of Pewaukee Lake and then store it on the bottom level. To be CLEAR. This is a CONDO in a mix commercial/residential building. The walls are thin, the building is HISTORIC. The space We just renovated this studio and it is adorable and brand new. It has a small kitchenette (fridge and toaster oven), a nice bathroom, a murphy bed, and two couches that turn into twin beds. Everything is brand new and we are excited for you to come and stay. The bathroom is nice, but small. There is one outdoor window., but it does not have a view. This is not a "retreat" per say! This is more you are using our space to sleep, heat up your food, and shower. We are your launch pad to adventure in Wisconsin. The walls are thin we have spent all summer 2022 trying to add sound barriers so hopefully it will be more quiet! There are multiple business (including a sup rental shop, a ji jitsu and a schnitzel place...) and other living units in this amazing historic building. Where else can you get all of that in one place :) , We do not want dogs in our space, but please reach out if you have one and we and work it out, but do not just show up with a dog. This is a kid friendly unit, but if you bring kids, realize the outdoor space is the shared outside area....this is more like a hotel room and less like a typical airbnb. Your host will be my mother who is very accommodating and if you need anything she will help you out! We just need you to communicate. Guest access You have your own entrance to your own separate space.
