Enjoy our wrap-around sunset deck and an inviting hot tub with an ocean view! Join us for the 19th year of the Otter Rock Oasis. Fresh, fun & ideal for a casual stay with family & friends. Access Beverly Beach - a long, walk-able/surf-able stretch of coastline 2 blocks south or wander across the street to the Marine Garden, to explore tidepools and the Devil's Punchbowl. The space This is a family home - comfortable not luxurious but it has all the things we want when we go to the beach. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining room table. There are many spice basics, flour, sugar, coffee, tea, oil, and such similar things too. We share plastic wrap, foil, ziplocs, and all the things you have in your own kitchen. (Things do run out occasionally so no guarantee on all the exact contents of the cupboards!) Pick up some seafood at the Chelsea Rose in the Newport docks to grill on our bbq! Our wrap-around sunset deck has bright blue rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the sunsets. And the best part is that we also added a hot tub! It has a lovely ocean view - perfect for after a day on the beach. Enjoy streaming movies & shows from our comfy sectional or play one of the many provided board games. With over 1,500 square feet of space on two floors, there is room to spread out and relax. Wifi too! A reading corner in the living room is a nice place to relax or nap too. Access to the balcony from the upstairs offers chairs for a distant view of Yaquina Lighthouse and fun people watching in the summer. Upstairs, the one bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full/twin bunk bed. This is a great spot for the kids or for families to be in the same room but have your own beds. The queen bed upstairs does have the best morning view of Gull Rock out the window! The second bedroom downstairs has a king bed with an adjacent bathroom and shower. We have a futon in the downstairs bonus room that provides another sleeping option. There is a full size washer and dryer in the adjacent laundry room. For the kiddos, we have a host of toys and books to entertain most ages. There is a booster chair with a tray that you can attach to a kitchen chair and we have a pack and play if you want to bring your own sheet. There is a wooden baby gate too. We provide 4 low slung beach chairs to take to the beach. And we provide big towels for the beach and hot tub too. Our yard isn’t much for hanging out in by the way. Great to drop your surfboards or set up our beach chairs while you crack open oyster shells for the BBQ but not really a key destination in our house. Perfect for a family vacation, a girl's weekend, or getting away with friends. We do have a 2 day minimum stay requirement but sometimes offer single days in between other stays, during slower times, or last minute. Guest access Your personal key code is sent via email prior to your arrival. Regular check in time is 4 pm and check out is 11 am. Other things to note Higher rates apply during summer, major holidays, and events. Winter season on the Oregon coast offers our best rates! Minimum 2 night stay is sometimes required. Single day reservations may be available between other guests - contact us and we might be able to squeeze you in! Please do not sleep in campers, RV’s, or trailers in our parking areas. Our rental license allows 6 people max at the home for the septic volume. Please do not bring your pet and just leave it in the car. We love them but for allergy reasons we don’t allow pets in our home. Please be safe & respectful when you use the hot tub. Children must be supervised and quiet times are between 10PM to 7AM.
