You'll enter through a shared front door, which leads to your private entrance. Each suite has their own smart lock. The property is alarmed but will be deactivated for your convenience; a code will be provided just in case. This hold covers any potential damage or rule violations. AIRBNB'S POLICY ON SECURITY DEPOSITS : Generally, hosts can’t collect extra fees outside the Airbnb platform unless specifically allowed. The exception is for hotels and software-connected hosts, who can charge fees through separate payment methods if detailed in the listing. We are a software - connected hosts and abide by all of Airbnb rules. I never had to do this with other airbnb listings, why do I need to complete this verification process ?
