The beaches remain open and accessible, though you may see machinery as they work to move the sand in from the Harbor. The dredging will begin on April 5 and continue through May 9. This project occurs annually to ensure the safety of the boats in the Harbor and keep the beaches wide and full of sand for you to enjoy. *** THE VIEW Enjoy this upstairs beachfront cottage condo with full ocean views from the master bedroom, living room, and kitchen, and sounds of ocean surf filling every room in the condo. KITCHEN AND DINING The kitchen features granite countertops and an open layout that makes the space much more user-friendly. The cabinets and drawers are fully stocked with all the basic cooking utensils you need to prepare your culinary masterpieces while on your beach vacation. The dining room table seats 6. LIVING AREAS The living room has ample seating locations with two sofas and chairs. The living room also has a 42" flat-screen TV that you can use to either watch cable (with FREE extended channels such as HBO and Showtime) or a DVD. For the occasional cool winter day - or to create an ambiance - there is a gas fireplace that is fully functional for your enjoyment. The master bathroom features a walk-in shower and the guest bathroom includes a tub/shower combo. SLEEPING D20 is set up to sleep 6 guests. The master bedroom suite has a comfortable top-quality king-size bed with lovely nautical bedding. You can see the ocean as you lie in bed and drift off to sleep. The second bedroom has 1 twin and 1 full bed with lovely tropical bedding and garden views. Both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs, cable, and ceiling fans. For additional sleeping arrangements in the living area, there is a leather queen sofa sleeper with a memory foam mattress for extra comfort. (4). **Please note there is no AC in the unit. For the most part, Oceanside is known for its temperate climate that stays in the "Goldilocks Zone" all year round, meaning not too hot, not too cold. If you do happen to be visiting during a warm spell we do provide fans in the condo to help create cooling cross breezes. LOCAL AREA D20 is located at North Coast Village, an oceanfront complex between the Oceanside Pier and the Harbor, built directly on the sand and just steps to the beach. Enjoy the lush tropical gardens with beautiful waterfalls, streams, koi ponds, and hidden alcoves. You'll have access to amenities such as a lagoon-style year-round heated pool and hot tub, commercial-sized barbeque area, putting green, fitness center, sauna, reserved garage parking, as well as laundry facilities, and 24-hr security to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. North Coast Village is truly a one-stop location for an unforgettable vacation. If that's not enough, you can head down to the harbor or the pier and enjoy such activities as fine dining, jet ski, kayak, bike, and surfboard rentals, sailboat excursions, and deep-sea fishing.
