Escape to this light-filled two bedroom, one bathroom bungalow located minutes from the heart of Leesburg's historic district. Just a short drive from unique shops, restaurants, and outdoor activities. This is the perfect home base whether you're in town for a weekend getaway or an extended stay. Located near the W&OD Bike Trail, Birkby House, Morven Park, breweries, wineries,and Rust Manor. We're excited to host you in our little slice of Leesburg charm! Bikes included: 1 mtn. & 1 cruiser The space The driveway accommodates two cars, with additional street parking available. Please avoid parking in front of the fire hydrant, as recent ticketing has occurred—street parking is permitted in front of the mailbox or anywhere else along the street. The home features two bedrooms plus a fully functional den/office with direct access to the fenced backyard. For your comfort, the space is professionally cleaned by the same trusted team that maintains our own home. Guest access Full access to the property and parking while visiting! Other things to note To make your stay even more enjoyable, we provide several complimentary items. Enjoy an ample supply of coffee pods and creamer. There are also umbrellas for your use in case it rains during your stay (we hope it doesn't). We also supply bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and black makeup towels (please avoid using the white towels for face cleaning). Each room is equipped with phone chargers on the night stands. For your comfort, all the sheets and duvet covers in the home are made of 100% linen, ensuring a super comfortable night's sleep. 🗂️Office area includes monitor, docking station (will charge computers that accept USB-C charging), gigabit hard wire Ethernet, keyboard, mouse, stapler, posted notes, tape, scissors, highlighters, and pens. 🔋Electrical Vehicle Charger included. It’s a Tesla Universal Level 2 charger. Compatible with all North America Vehicles. 🍼Toddler/Child Items: baby monitor, kids toys, books, infant bathing tub, outlet covers, Baby Bjorn bouncer, portable crib w/sheet. 🚲-Enjoy complimentary use of two adult bikes during your stay—perfect for exploring the area! The set includes a large fat-tire mountain bike and a women’s cruiser bike with a basket. Both bikes are stored in the backyard shed, and bike locks are provided for your convenience. 🐶There is a dog fee that will automatically be applied once you select that you are bringing a dog. The backyard is fully fenced with two gates. The fence height varies from 7’-4’. 🟠 Tally Ho Theatre! 15 Minute walk from the home to Tally Ho Theatre where DC Improv hosts a comedy night a few times a year, there are concerts there regularly and all kinds of other interesting shows. Go checkout their website for more information or reach out to the host for details. 🟠 Harry Potter- A Forbidden Forest Experience – Located on the grounds of Morven Park is only a 15 minute walk from our house. A nighttime woodland trail experience filled with magical creatures and wizarding wonders from the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ films. This event goes on from November-January (tickets are required). 2025 season has ended. Check their website to see if they will return in November. 🟠 Morven Park Equestrian Center – Morven Park is only a 15 minute walk from our house but if you want to do the full tour of the mansion and grounds, we recommend driving to the visitor center instead of walking (only a 5 minute drive) and parking is completely free! Gorgeously maintained garden to walk through. **Mansion Grounds are always open but there are specific dates/time for an internal tour of the mansion – see their website for details** 🟠 Stone Tower Winery is a local favorite and only 15 mins from the home. 🟠 Breakfast – Definitely checkout Buford’s Biscuits right next to Tally Ho Theatre, the biscuits are delicious if you like southern comfort food. Also cannot go wrong with Leesburg Diner. Or if you want a more Vegan Friendly option, go checkout Goosecup down the street. 🟠 Downtown Restaurants, Shops, Bars & Boutiques – There are countless options for local eateries such as Tuscarora Mill, Echelon Wine Bar, Leesburg Diner, King Street Oyster Bar, Rebellion, Black Hoof Brewing Company, Black Walnut Brewery, Loudoun Brewing, Buford’s Biscuits and more. Don’t hesitate to ask the host for recommendations. 🟠 Coffee Shops – There are several local coffee shops that make delicious drinks. Our favorites are Goosecup Coffee and Starbucks that you can easily access before walking or biking on the W&OD trail, or you can simply drive there since both locations have private parking available. 🟠 Ice Cream – Grutos is the best ice cream in town OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES: 🟠 ⛷🏂🎿 We are located about one hour from Ski Liberty and Whitetail Ski resorts! ❄️❄️❄️ 🟠 When the weather is suitable, kayaking on the Potomac River is absolutely beautiful and a super fun, close by activity!! 🟠 Guests also enjoy hiking and biking on the C&O Canal and on the W&OD trail (walking distance from the house.🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️) 🟠 Local hikers also love Sugarloaf Mountain, Harpers Ferry, Raven Rocks, and Bears Den Park Trail. 🟠 For an even more relaxed hike only 10 mins from the house, check out Balls Bluff Battlefield – it is a picturesque historical set of trails alongside the Potomac river. Suitable for beginners. 🟠 The Appalachian Trail is also close by and a favorite for experienced hikers. You can choose a short hike or a long hike with switch backs. (Be sure to pack water) ⛰
